These are very cute and quite functional. I live just outside of Phoenix and on really hot days, coming soon, it’s nice to have a constant source of water. These deliver a nice slow, regulated drip instead of a gush from a watering can. I expect to refill it more often as the temperature rises. So far so good!

These are just what i needed! i was going away for the weekend in the middle of summer and wanted to try to keep my plants alive. i dont know about a whole week, but these will def keep your plants hydrated for several days. they are very cute, not too hard to fill, and def work!

Overall I like them. They’re a bit difficult to refill - I usually take a chopstick to loosen dirt in the stem. But definitely have helped some of my window plants come back to life.

Very practical!

I have two outdoor plants that would wilt on a daily basis because they constantly want water. These cat watering stems have saved the day! I did give up on trying to use a paper towel at the end of the stem, because no matter what I tried, I always ended up pushing the stem through the paper. But I have found that I can shift the stem around and get it into a position where the bubbles calm down, so it's not gushing water into the plant. (Maybe there is still some paper towel left in the soil that is helping. 😄) But I've got them working, and it makes me and my plants happy.

These work for the most part and I like them, but the reason for the 3 stars is that to get them to work is not easy, it's quite difficult. Using these by themselves in the soil drains them far too quickly, within about 1-2 days, not very useful. I also tried watering the soil before putting these in and it still doesn't help. What seems to work is wrapping a paper towel around the end and it drains far slower, which is what I was looking for to keep my plants watered during vacation. The issue is that the paper towel tears easily so it's no reliable. There should have been some sort of item that came with this product in order for it to easily work.

Cute plant friend. Some reviewers have commented that it hasn't lasted them for as long as they'd expected. The pic shared is day 9, so it may depend on how thirsty your plant is or where your plant is placed. (e.g. humid vs. dry environment). Overall, I'm pretty pleased with the product.

I received these adorable kitty-shaped self-watering globes last week and I love them so much, I’m ordering more! They’re a good size, each face has a different cute expression, and they’re fairly easy to fill up considering the small opening. They arrived packaged very well and all three globes were in tact. I need to refill the globes for my palm and pothos every 5-7 days or so. My rubber plant, which is about 2’ tall goes through a filled globe every 3-4 days. They suggest wrapping a piece of cotton around the opening, which helps with flow, but I think it’s more so that dirt doesn’t go into the hole and clog it up. I’ve started using pieces of paper towel instead, which will dissolve over time. The cotton gets stuck in the dirt and I don’t want to have to fish it out! This is of my favourite Amazon purchases to date!
