Electric Gas Fuel Pump assembly 2114704094 Replacement For 2003 2004 2005 Mercedes-Benz E320 V6-3.2L, 2006-2009 Mercedes-Benz E350 V6-3.5L, 2003-2006 Mercedes-Benz E500 V8-5.0L (Left Side)

Exactly what I needed for my uncles 2007 E350. His fuel pump itself went out but I was told to change these in pairs (This one is just the sending unit, you’ll need to buy the pump separate.)I found out the hard way that it was the plastic hose that connects the pump, to the sending unit that broke but I was told to change them both, by a friend that works at the Mercedes dealership.Anyway fast forward to the install, if you’re like me and are expecting an easy install, think again. ALSO if you’re planning on changing this, make sure they have less than half tank otherwise the fuel will spill into the cabin due to the way the access doors are facing, which is slightly towards the back of the car. I had the pleasure of changing these on an overfull tank on a driveway with a slight incline. Needless to say it was messy AF. The problem isn’t changing this and the pump, the problem is routing the wire and lines from the driver side access port to the passenger side IN THE TANKS ACCESS TUNNEL. We’re talking super narrow tunnel that will link your lines and leave you screaming in frustration. I found a diagram (which I can’t find again to share with you fine people) of what it looks like on the inside of the tank and it’s seriously a little bigger than the bunch of wires and lines are. It’s fricken ridiculous to say the least.Here’s where you can thank me later. I used a wire hanger and fed it from the passenger side to the driver side port, tied it to the bunch of stuff and slowly pulled it through. Boom I just saved you an hour of headaches and cursing Mercedes name. You’re welcome.

I purchased this to replace another pump that failed. I'm not here to bash the other manufacturer or seller, but 1 lasted 6 months and the second was electrically incapable. Now, I'm giving this one 5 stars because it arrived early, it was a direct drop in, the car started on the first try, and the fuel gauge is more accurate than the previous pump. Being a frequent Amazon shopper and Prime member, I have to say, Amazon has been great with customer service in dealing with the problems that have come up.

Most of the connects did not fit, the hoses were too large, and the overall fit of the pump was too lose.I have a mercedes benz e320, do not get this part if you’re looking for it to actually work.

Autoparts store wanted $400. I could buy 8 of these for that much money. I had to buy the proper tool to get the old pump out (about $25), but this fit perfectly, and has been running for a few months now with no problems.
