what is the country of origin ?

Inside my boot it says made in China. I know thorogood has a line that is made in the USA, and I thought this was one of those boots. With that said, it feels and looks we'll made. I've only owned them about a week and have only worn them a few times to break them in before I wear them on duty. I'm confident that they will last as long as every other boot made in China. I usually get about a year before they really start falling apart. Ive owned and still own other thorogood boots, some have failed, sole separation. I contacted customer service, took pics to email them and they sent me new boots. So it's a plus side if they do start falling apart.

Very easy on and off. I have 2 pairs I switch off.

Are there boots oil and slip resistant ?

Yes they are oil and slip resistant I work out side so when it rains I do not slip I have step on oil but I have tried avoid it A good amount of oil will male you slip with any name brand shoe
