Crowned โthe picture of graceโ by Vogue magazine, the founder of The Plaza Hotelโs Finishing Program spills her insider tips on how to achieve an upper edge in your career. Etiquette expert Myka Meier has coached thousands of business professionals and worked with internal human resources and hiring departments of some of the most successful Fortune 100 companies to learn what it takes to be the best in business. It may surprise you to learn that etiquette is what differentiates you from everyone else, and Business Etiquette Made Easy shows you how to put your best professional foot forward. Whether youโre just entering the workforce or have been working for many years and want to revamp your image, Myka shares practical tips that are simple to incorporate into your everyday business life. Through easy-to-follow chapters, youโll learn how to: Master resumes and interviews at any level Dress like a polished professional Make a great first impression Network like a pro Have superb business dining table manners And much, much more! Perfect for a recent college graduate as well as those looking to climb the ladder in their respective jobs or industries, Business Etiquette Made Easy is an essential read for any working professional. Review: Another smash hit! - After reading Modern Etiquette Made Easy by the same author, I knew I had to also read this book, and I am so glad I did! As a young professional in the performing arts, the "rules" for dress and behavior, both spoken and unspoken, tend to be more lax, as they usually are in more creative and artistic professions. My employer is no different. For me personally, it is imperative that I conduct myself in a way that is appropriate and refined. Aside from Meier's books I have absolutely zero training or background in etiquette, and I am guessing most reading this book won't either. Thankfully, as you will quickly realize while reading, etiquette can be learned by anyone willing to practice. This book provides a wealth of etiquette tips and tricks for common situations such as interviews, networking, attire, business dining, posture, meetings, and technology (emailing, social media use, and phone etiquette are all big ones). However, what makes this book a must-read, in my opinion, is that Meier also focuses on small things that give you that extra polish: how to sit, making an impromptu speech or toast, handshakes, walking through a revolving door, where to place your utensils on your plate when you're done eating, and lots more. All these little things truly add up and make a difference, and I was thrilled that these were covered in a way that's easy to remember and practice. Overall, this is a fantastic book for anyone looking to "polish up," and for everyone in any field looking to advance their careers. Etiquette truly makes a difference and is, in my opinion, more relevant now than ever in a world that is built on first impressions and strong connections, both personal and digital. 10/10. Highly recommend. Thank you, Myka Meier, for another amazing book! Review: Great book for a college grad going into business! - Bought this for a recent college grad heading out to the business world! A MUST read!! Gain confidence in yourself in any business setting!
After reading Mykaโs first book, Modern Etiquette Made Easy, I knew I had to read this next one! Iโm also going to buy copies as gifts for my team at work and for anyone I know recently graduating from college. I know formal dining etiquette very well and THIS BOOK drives home all the right technical lessons about placement of your napkin, silverware and glasses. You will be able to carry yourself confidently in any business setting after reading it. I marked so many pages and took notes in the margins. Itโs an approachable and enjoyable read. Highly recommend!!

Fits easily into Christmas stocking ( with other goodies, of course).
I myself did not read it. I got it for my grandson, who is heading off to college. I am hoping that it generally addressed how a young man should present himself to anyone more learned than himself.

Love Love LOVE Myka Meier. Her books are easy to follow and offer ton of knowledge. Her books are suited and geared towards all genders. I have been following Mykaโs teaching for a while now and it has definitely helped me through some challenging experiences. Iโm thankful for this book and have started ordering them for friends and family. I keep a library in my work office and already have her first book Modern Etiquette Made Easy for people to reference/ borrow and this one will be on the shelf too.

HR Pro recommends
I am an HR professional for a fortune 100 company. Let me assure you, business etiquette is a MUST for professionals to be successful. I was thrilled to see this book coming out after I had purchased the first book, Modern Etiquette. I would strongly recommend this book to companies to help educate their employees on proper etiquette in the workplace. I even learned a few things myself reading this book! Etiquette isnโt about being โstuffy.โ Itโs about showing respect to others as Myka points out. Many workplace issues come up because people donโt show respect to others. The tips to networking are excellent in this book as they donโt come across as trying to hard. Itโs a nice way to get to know people and learn how to break the ice. Great read and highly recommend!
