Pretty sure it can fit on a water dispenser.
When I opened the packaging, my first thought was "I can fit this to a water dispenser" and that's how I plan to serve home brew at the next party.Other than that, seems sturdy enough for brewing, granted I don't use carboys for primary. Secondary, settling, blending and aging mostly.

Oh Canada! This is a beauty of a fermentation vessel!
It looks and feels amazing! I have plenty of larger carboys in glass, plastic & even a SS Conical fermenter - but - I needed a 2-3 gallon fermenter for some mead projects as well as smaller batch beers. It's construction feels solid, its interior is smooth (no crevices for stuff to get stuck in) and it even looks like glass (but without the weight). I cannot wait to get fermenting in this! Also, it might help to note that his accepts a #10 rubber stopper (bung) drilled (for airlock).

Nice product!
I really like the light weight design, the #10 bung opening, and sturdiness of this carboy. My only concern with this is the true gallon size. After my first primary fermentation of my mead I transferred to this carboy. I have about a 1.5 gallon head space, and I do not wish to water it down that much. Other than that it is great!

A really nice carboy
This is a beautiful carboy. It looks like glass. It's not until you pick it up that you realize it's actually PET. However, I bought this for brewing, so I did not want the danger associated with glass. It arrived in perfect condition, in a box that was perfectly sized to the carboy.

Really like this carboy!
Lighter than glass, but sturdy enough it doesn't bend or bow...which can push wine into the airlock. Doesn't do that with this model.

Arrived dented in box with no packing materials.
The carboy arrived dented in three places! There was no packing material in the box, and there was an old return authorization slip in it from a previous purchase and return! I would not exchange it for another one because it is flimsy plastic. It may work for some people, but not for me.

Unconventional use
So, I actually used these as a "vase" for my wedding. I kept seeing pictures of these large jugs being used and they were so expensive and glass and I knew I would break them so I went on a hunt and totally forgot about carboy jugs. These worked perfectly for what I needed AND they were plastic, which helped so much!

I love this carboy for my first racking
I love this carboy for my first racking ... it is light weight and will not break if you accidentally drop it ... some seemed to complain about receiving a dented carboy, but both of mine have arrived just fine ... I still think I want my last racking or two to be in glass, especially for degassing purposes, but I do love these for both a primary and initial secondary fermentation/aging
