Happy with the purchase
Aware of the quality of the Jungle Boots I ordered them with hardly no hesitation. The first impression of them when I received the package is how light they feel compared to what I imagined they would weight. They do take some time to put on and to take off, but that's just how they are. The sole despite being glued seems to be tough. The boots do pass water but that's only when exposed to a lot of water. I spent whole day outside whilst it was extremely wet and raining - the boots did a good job.It is not as comfortable to run in them as in smaller types of combat boots. But I expect them to last longer and they look very good.

Looks great but absolutely not worth it.
When I first got these boots I was over the moon with them. They fit beautifully, looked fantastic and were lightweight and comfortable. I broke them in in a pretty intensive activity weekend and they were awesome. However after little over a month they started coming apart at the seams. I still have them now after just over 4 months and they are ruined. I've added pictures but what you can't see is there are small holes and tears along the sole. The insides have also scuffed up and are quite uncomfortable. For the price I expected far better.(the reason I am wearing them still is because they were £50 and therefore are my only pair of boots.)

Miltec jungle boots
I am very surprised with the sturdiness and comfort of the boots.Great for airsoft/re-enactment or for simple day to day boots.Would recommend reading the instructions that come with regards to wearing and either buy wooly socks or 1000mile double layer socks. Normal socks will cause blisters.

A long wait for a minor disappointment
So after waiting a month of waiting for my boots to arrive as they are shipped from Ireland I recieved them yesterday. They look nice and are quite light due to the neck and tongue of the boot being nylon with bits of leather stitched on for the lace holes and the first thing I noticed when putting them on is that although I bought the regular size boot that I have always worn these are quite tight a oars the bridge of the foot which resulted in me gettin a heel blister and skin tears on outside of my big and little toes. That being said the sole of the boots is very very robust with an excellent style of tread and some very good thick leather, what little there is of it anyway. But to be honest I wouldn't buy a pair of these again

Much boot for the money
Good solid boot for walking in the wet outdoors. No inside padding so a pair of thick socks is a must. The boots are quite soft to wear even though the sole looks hard, you can wear them all day long. Good value for money, would recommend to people off the outdoor type.

Great Boots
I have to say I love these boots. The delivery time was a little long, but they came within the estimate, and definitely worth the wait. The green canvas is a bit lighter than in the pictures, but they look and fit great. They are lightweight, easy to get on and off as they open very wide. All in all, a great boot for a great price.

Unwearable - and company doesn't even obey the law
As soon as I pulled these boots onto my first foot (with socks on, and having bought the correct size), the way that the boot is made caused it to shave a chunk of my skin and flesh off the bottom of my ankle. I managed to pull them off before the blood soaked through the sock, so it didn't stain the boot (fortunately - I could return them easier), but obviously I didn't even get to putting the second boot on, never-mind walking in them. The problem is caused by the use of very stiff leather for the bottom of the boot, the top of which reaches just under the centre of your lateral malleolus. The adjacent part of the shoe is fabric - meaning that the leather curves inward (as you can see on the picture), and isn't compensated by the upper part of the shoe. To use these boots, with normal sized and shaped feet, would not be possible, unless you were prepared to spend a fortune on ankle-surgery.I should also note that the company refused to offer a pre-paid return label even though I explicitly returned the shoes as 'damaged/unfit for use', and explained the problem clearly in my comment - and the company accepted this. I've contacted Amazon about this, because the return costs were half the price of the 'shoe', but Amazon haven't got back to me on this, so I can only assume they've given up. I've got no real issue with having a dodgy item that needs returning, as it's often not the seller's fault (I build/repair PCs part time, so I'm often returning things) - as a result, I think companies should be judged by how they deal with returns. In this case, the company actually broke the law by not paying for the return of the item, which was clearly not fit for use (as they accepted). As a result, I can only advise potential customers to avoid this product, and certainly to avoid dealing with this company.

Good enough for Vietnam, good enough for me
As someone who likes to walk for hours, I recommend these boots 100%. They are sturdy, comfortable (when broken in) and pretty affordable for boots. Just remember to wear some proper socks and bring blister plasters during the breaking-in period.
