SAS Safety 2985 Non-toxic Dust Mask Box of 50

I needed some facial masks for the purposes of doing cleanup while caretaking for someone. These SAS Safety dust masks provided a comfortable fit, and were effective and keeping out the majority of both smells, and any dust as well. There are always complaints about masks not being sturdy enough, or the elastic breaking, or creating a less than optimal breathing situation. I found that the SAS masks did a fine job all the way around. Yes, they did buckle in a bit at times, but that was only if I did any really heavy inhales, and that was quickly remedied. The fit is nice, the elastic works fine, and the masks are sturdy. I think maybe only one broke, but that was due to a bit of misuse on my part when putting it on. Also, it was good to know - as the label stated - that these masks are "non-toxic"... although that makes me wonder, are there masks out there that ARE toxic? If so, why? For the price, and the comfort and durability, I would definitely recommend SAS Safety masks.

I have allergies, and mowing the lawn is a weekly chore on multiple levels. When checking at the hardware stores, most didn't seem to have cheap dust masks anymore, moving towards "professional"-grade expensive masks with plastics and mechanical parts. These work perfectly for me, in terms of fighting off my allergy attack when working outside. The masks do not seem to degrade with an hour of humid breath moving through, always holding their form. I also haven't had a break in the rubber strap yet. I wouldn't use these to filter out asbestos or a chemical attack, but for light duty they're perfect.

This product did exactly what it stated. My husband works with wood. With all the sanding he does there are always wood particles on his face and in his nose. The product worked good except for the fact when he had his safety goggles on the mask would steam up his goggles and he couldn't see what he was doing. He will still use them when he doesn't have his safety glasses on. I didn't think about the safety glasses when I purchased this product. This product does keep the particles out of your nose and mouth.

These dust masks are better quality & value than the ones I've been buying at the local hardware stores - and I thought the rubber band strap was better as well but it only is by a little bit... they dry out pretty fast and once they do that they break way before I've gotten full use of the mask. I still find them to be a good buy and will likely purchase them again.

I use these dust masks when stuffing hay nets at the barn and they really do the trick. Hay tends to have a fair amount of particulate matter and when great armfuls are being stuffed none too gently into a hay net, things get dusty pretty quick. These masks do a great job of filtering out the yuck and let you breathe at the same time. I will be buying these masks again. They are very affordable too!

I've been using these for years when I cut my grass and use my weedeater. If I don't wear anything, I'll get nasty stuff in my throat and nose which is irritating to me. When I wear one of these, it filters out all of that junk and I don't have any issues. Very happy with them so far.

This is an inexpensive solution to exert day projects.

I bought these to use while cleaning my pellet stoves. I don't think I need the ones rated for toxic substances, so these fit the bill perfectly. 50 masks for under ten bucks, how can you go wrong? I will probably use the same mask once or twice and then toss it, so I'm not really worried about the reviews that say the rubber bands break easily. I have a small head anyway. :) If you don't need protection from toxic substances, these are great disposable masks. Very happy with this purchase.

they are not as good as the 3M brand,but they do work and you get alot for the price

Apparently my face is 75% larger than the faces of the people wherever these were made exactly. I do not have a fat face! They barely covered my nose and mouth even when I tried to make both smaller like a ferret or maybe a weasel in order to squeeze it all into the tiny pocket of this mask. Definitely not made for people that eat a lot of beef, or ferrets/weasels.
