This is great for my very uncomfortable college bed. I always get compliments on how comfortable my bed is. The only downside is it’s a bit short. If I line up the end only the topper to the edge of the mattress, there’s a pretty big gap at the top. I just take a blanket and fill the spot then put my sheets on so it doesn’t bother me too much but I think for the price, it should fit better. Regardless though, it’s extremely comfy.

I have had some bad luck with foam toppers in the past because they were too hot, too smelly, took forever to puff up, and were too soft. I also got tired of the feathered toppers. This brand, however, I’m already loving. This topper was ready to use almost immediately, it doesn’t reek, it’s soft yet supportive, and I’m not dying in my own sweat. I’m so very happy with this brand and my joints will really thank me.My osteoarthritis has been worsening and I have it in my hips as well; my bed even with different toppers was still killing my legs, hips, back, neck. Now I’m in heaven.

Update: it's been 7-8 months now and I'd probably write the exact same review today, it's not degraded or sunken at all.First things first for a time reference: I'm writing this after having had the mattress pad in place for a bit over a month.Second: mine and my husband's experiences with this mattress pad are different. For me, it makes me hot when I sleep sometimes but it hasn't done the same for him; I'm an EXTREMELY cold sleeper, and he's a hot sleeper, so the logic there doesn't make sense to me, but it's what's happening. I'm not really sure if it's made a difference in my sleep quality; I think there's a good chance it has, but I'm a wreck and always have been when it comes to sleeping so I just don't know.My husband, on the other hand, has been acting like we live in a whole new world now. There was the pathetic world before the mattress pad and now the world of endless possibilities after the mattress pad. I know it sounds dramatic, but I'm not the one portraying that so give me a break here. He'll use his lunch break to just lay on the bed, laughing while excitedly hunkering down then falling asleep as quick as he always does. The impactful difference comes into play with pain; he's said many times now that the typical 'being a person who made dumb decisions while younger' back and joint and muscle pains just aren't really there now. I find it wild that a mattress pad could assuage so much (and I'm envious), but it's definitely working for him.I do find the thing comfortable, but I'm guessing my sleep problems are far more deep-seated than my external conditions so I'm a bad gauge anyway. Therefore, my husband's experience is the one that's really relevant here: for him it's apparently some sort of miracle.Logistical type info: I was looking at mattresses for a long time; we have a harder mattress. I'm a side sleeper with a pretty massive disparity between my waist vs hip/shoulder measurements, so I'm just... BENT all the time as my torso part is gravitating to the mattress but the other parts are too big to go any further. I wanted a foam-type mattress due to that, but I know there are usually problems involved with them (for whatever reason it's like a decent percentage of them just fail and sink after a year), and also Husband insists he does better with a hard mattress. This led me to believe we should get a hybrid, but those are gougingly expensive, which is gross, plus if the foam fails... it's stuck to the rest of it. Seems weird that it took me a long time to realize adding a mattress pad to our harder spring mattress literally creates a hybrid, but there it is.* I've read reviews about this falling apart or tearing after a short period of time; I went into the purchase knowing it's not really meant to be as long lasting as mattresses claim, but due to my husband's quality of life apparently sky-rocketing, I won't have a problem paying to replace it every 6 months (I mean I will, I'll hate doing it, and hopefully it will last longer). On the other hand if it only lasts a couple months, I'll be revising the review angrily, I'm sure.I'm only a bit over a month in, but the pad feels like day 1. I bought a waterproof, deep pocket mattress protector at the same time, so maybe that helps keep it from drying out, or maybe it's geological or seasonal... I just don't know why some people's fail far more quickly than they should but it makes sense to me that a waterproof protector would help with it drying out (as a ceiling or regular fan can't be hitting it as directly all the time). I'm not an engineer or a physicist, I'm just explaining my actions and the outcomes.

I cannot say enough good things about this mattress pad. I always have trouble sleeping and was considering buying a new mattress. I added this on top of my mattress, and I absolutely love it. It is worth every penny, and if I could be an advocate to sell this product I would. I also think it’s great for people that get hot at night as it is does not create more heat. I highly recommend this product.

I got the 3" to help alleviate the little aches I began waking up with using just my mattress. It took a night to get used to the texture, but I now wake up with no achy-ness and am sleeping like a baby every night. Only downside is I never want to leave my bed now ;)

When it came time to replace our mattress, my husband wanted to be the one who did all the research and picked one out that was “medium-firm”, but felt like sleeping on a box of rocks. I tried MANY so-called pillow top mattress covers to try and make the thing more comfortable, all to no avail. Then I pulled the trigger and bought this foam pad. Let me tell you, it was magical from the very first night - so supportive and comfortable without being mushy or too soft. And many months later, it would is still perfect, has retained its shape and function and truly, saved our marriage. Highly recommend.

Next to my kids this topper is the best thing that ever happened to me. For reference, I have owned and returned no less than 10 mattresses. I am VERY particular about bedding/cushioning/support. I weigh 130. My husband is 250+ and he loves it too. It does make the bed feel about 10 degrees warmer than the room temp. Sometimes the room is 65 and being in bed feels like 80. Not ideal but I still love it.

What a blessing this foam mattress topper has been to me. I really couldn't get a new Mattress right tNow and I hadn't thought about buying the mattress topper, until my daughter showed me hers. I had to have one of these Now! It's helped my neck and back tremendously. Forget the new mattress get this 3 inch topper it's amazing!!!!!

My son had a firm bed so we bought this foam and wow!!! I may be more in love with it then he is. So so comfy!!

Comfortable but hot at night. It's made of foam so does not allow the skin to "breathe" at night. Find myself sweating a lot when sleeping on this.

This is not memory foam, it is foam. And as foam does, it gets hot! I gave it sometime to see if I could grow to love it since I had already bought and unpackaged it. Not sure how you would go about returns for something like this anyway my first review Amazon don't like because give support to seller
