Very helpful, Very accurate.
I've used this for years now and I can't tell you how happy I am with it I've probably saved hundreds of dollars a year by using this around the house to find out what is using how much power. It made me more conscious of my usage and I've cut my energy consumption down by two-thirds.It is very durable and easy to use. I used it to maximize the efficiency of my small Bitcoin mining operation and I've used it to test the efficiency of a slew of window Air Conditioners to find what's the most efficient. The application for this is endless.

Good for tracking electricity use of small appliances.
Works well for small, easy to reach devices.

Super useful
This has been very useful measuring a few devices. I had no idea how many settings it had. Also some people mentioned that the screen was separate and didn't attach to the plug, well there is a clip on top of the plug and it becomes one piece.

Very cool but not Backlit like the pictures indicate
I really like this item and it helped me identify wasted electricity like unused usb charging blocks or unused plugged in items that suck down the electricity and cost money. But one of the reasons I got it was for my home theater. I wanted to monitor and see how much electricity I am using to watch tv or movies or even listen to music. I have a receiver and several amps and other equipment that is in use daily. I saw with this meter I could place the monitor anywhere to fit my needs but I thought it was backlit but sadly it is not. So don’t go by the pictures. So that’s the reason for 4 stars.

Really good energy monitor -- wow my electric fireplaces use a lot of electricity!
I hadn't realized how important the read-out screen being connected by cord would be until I used it -- so much easier to be ble to read the measurements at table level rather than outlet-near-the-floor level.

Photo is deceptive. Unit consists of two pieces seperated by a long cord.
If you are looking for a single unit that plugs in between the wall outlet and device, this may not be it. It has a rather long cord that dangle obtrusively on the side. That works great if you want to remote the head from the outlet portion, but if you want a one piece unit look elsewhere. The top LCD piece does clip on to the bottom piece but dislodges very easily with even light pressure. Also, entry of power cost is limited to 2 decimals make the unit potentially less accurate than you would expect. Well made but may not be ideal for every indication.
