Great lightweight travel tripod without the expense of going for a carbon fibre one. Tripod reaches a great height and you can also spread the legs out for low level photography and reverse the central tube too. Easy to adjust the legs individually with the flip locks which seem strong and well made. Build quality seems excellent so far and it will happily support my camera. Ball head is very easy to use and offers plenty good enough range of movements. Folds down very compactly and fits well inside the supplied carry bag with a decent length shoulder strap. My first Neewer purchase and am really impressed so far.

This carbon fibre, full height, tripod is quite a bargain. It’s not inexpensive but is about half the price of near alternatives and comes with a decent ball head and carry case. I’ve had various bits of Neewer kit and always found it practical and good quality - this tripod carries on the tradition. I searched for quite some time before deciding on the Neewer but I’m glad I made the decision I did. Brand snobs need not apply but if you want a solid, lightweight tripod with no frills this is your boy. You could reduce the weight even further by changing the head for a smaller, lighter one - depending on your use case. In my opinion, it’s best suited to general landscape type photography. A heavy camera and lens combo might be too much but any “normal” camera with up to maybe a 300mm should be absolutely fine. I use tripods every day for my work so I am a little fussy. I own various Manfrotto’s and a crazy expensive Gitzo (that I got cheap) but for the ultra light kit I bought this tripod for, it’s absolutely fantastic without breaking the bank. I have no idea of its durability over time but it seems solid to me. If you’re thinking it’s still a bit pricey and considering a cheaper aluminium option - don’t if you can avoid it. Carbon fibre is lighter, absorbs vibrations much better and is nicer to work with in the cold. Good luck finding a better tripod for the price!

Sturdy, well made tripod! Bought this to replace a much loved tripod I’ve had for years - safe to say I’m very happy with it. I was blown away when it arrived yesterday to see how tall you can get it (my old one was about a foot shorter at full extension), with it still being very grounded. The tripod will be capable of holding the heaviest of DSLR with a huge lens, plus you can counterweight it if you want. The box includes an allen key to adjust how easily you can unfold the legs (out of the box these were very stiff), which is handy! Mine also came with a replacement head, which includes a combined phone and speedlight holder. I’ve used several products from Neewer but it’s safe to say they’ve really upped their game from the last ones I’ve ordered.

The main advantage of this tripod is the maximum lifting height of the camera, with my height it is advantage no.1. Stability, well, at the maximum height, there is nothing to cling to, it may wobble a bit sometimes, but not that it is somehow an unstable tripod. You just can't change the laws of physics. It is also a light argument for. It is stable on your legs, when you stretch out one "neck" it is still stiff, only when the other one loses its stiffness. The conversion to a monopod could be easier, I mean faster, because it's not a big deal to unscrew, screw on and it is there. I recommend a very good budget tripod, with options and quality cheap professional equipment.

So pleased with this purchase, brought a camera package and it came with a cheap tripod, already with a busted clip, also had an old tripod knocking about, but that was also broken. For a Mid-priced Tripod, this is superb, the legs fold upwards around the mount, thus protecting it and making the unit really small for transporting, I'm 6'2 and at it's tallest I would need a three rung step ladder to see through the view finder, it's got great locking collars that allow you to turn it into a monopod, the stability of the tripod is great, really would buy again.

The tripod is very versatile, it could be assembled to monopod, and the mobile clip and Bluetooth shutter. The ball head is smooth and with good quality. These features could really extend many occasions and encourage me to make good photos and videos. I bought this for self taping, it 120% does the job. I purchased during Black Friday promotion period. The deal did say they sell brand new item. But clearly I received an used item. The package was opened before, the tripod has the signs of usage. Even the package was labelled ‘used item’. That’s the issue making me uncomfortable. I paid for brand new item, I am expecting brand new item. The business should carry out checks before dispatching them.
