Wonderful product!
This really made a huge difference in the shells of our hens’ eggs! I will be buying another bag as soon as we run out. I really like the size of the flakes, it seems to be very easy for my hens to ingest.

Any other calcium just sits there and gets ignored. This is the only one they will eat. Good for our mini bantam babies.

Flaked oyster shell!
This is a flake oyster shell and my girls love it!!! First thing they run to when they fly out of the coop in the morning.

Amazing, honest, safe, reliable company.
I run a small domestic duck rescue and have recently had a duck fall ill with heavy metal poisoning. The vet suspected oyster shells from a different well known brand. When I reached out to Scratch and Peck to find out where their oyster shells are sourced and if they are heavy metals tested they responded so quickly and put my mind at ease that they heavy metals test and their oysters are sourced from the PNW. I needed something safe for my girls to get calcium and they’ve always eaten oyster shells to help. I’m so glad I can feel comfortable giving my flock this brand and know they will be okay. Plus, they really prefer the flaked ones anyway. I only wish they did a much larger bag cause I go through so many. By the way, months later I am still awaiting a response from the big brand if they heavy metal test. (Hard eye roll)
