I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in meditation, whether beginner or experienced. I've attended many meditation retreats over the past 30 years and have found those led by the authors to be the best taught and best organized. Steve and Rosemary offer these teachings with a compassionate intention so that people can find more peace and happiness within themselves, then bring these qualities into the world. While many books and retreats teach the usual breath and mindfulness meditations, this book also includes details on a variety of reflections that have proved extremely valuable to me in balancing the mind.

A wonderful book
A superb book that contains a number of methods of meditation, including methods that involve thinking, thinking in ways that are beneficial rather than the habitual ways we think which cause us to suffer.Much in the book challenges our pre-conceived notions about what meditation "is", but if you are open to change and willing to try the methods out, your efforts will be rewarded.Their teachings have greatly changed how I view the world, and for the better.

A solid introduction to meditation for beginners and experienced meditators alike
This is great book from very experienced Buddhist meditation teachers. Can only highly recommend it. I've studied their material many times and found new pearls of wisdom again and again the deeper I understood it.
