My favorite pen
I love these pens. Write like ink but dry immediately. A thin line not smeary like some ball points.

A nice pen but with a big shortcoming
I've used this pen for typical writing and note-taking. First of all, I wrote exclusively with the Sharpie fine felt-tip pen for years, but I grew tired of the expense and the annoying graphic on the tube rubbing off in a sweaty writing hand. So I was on the market for a good, new, felt-tip workhorse when I came across this. The immediate benefits:-Very attractive minimalist design. The cap tapers; you can un- and re-cap in one fell swoop. And the clip on the cap is very strong.-You feel good about the price.-All-plastic body, no paint. Very durable.-Smooth line, easy on the wrist.-The cap can be left off for a whole day without drying out.All very exciting. But there are drawbacks:-Just a little less precise than the Sharpie.-It bleeds more too if you don't write quickly.-Worst of all (what prompted me to review the pen)--after the ink has dried and set in the page for about a week, the color degrades from a sharp black to a dingy dark green. Seriously. For those of you who understand, this is a problem. It's harder on the eyes and certainly more off-putting than a nice crisp black. And from the other side of the page, when held up to the light, it's really almost forest green. I'm using a heavy-weight Rhodia pad, not some cheapo wide-ruled filler. The bottom line: you get what you pay for. The pen does its job. It is a pleasure to write with and a pleasure in your breast pocket. The line sharpness is decent, but the ink is of a lower quality. I have trouble understanding some of the graphic designers' positive reviews, given that I've got a couple substantial gripes about its performance as a simple writing pen. But if this is all you plan on using the Stylist for, and if you can see past the vomit-green ink issue, it's certainly worth the 75 cents.

This is not a stylist
Do not buy this pen it is not a stylist it is just a magic marker with a fine tip. The ad is misleading and fraudulent. You cannot use it with a touch screen. I cannot believe that Amazon would let them claim this pen as a stylist and then sell it.

original price under $2 and the PRICE OVER HERE IS UNACCEPTABLE.
I HOPE Yasutomo Niji Stylist Marker Pens WILL BRING THESE PENS BACK. SO PEOPLE DON'T HAVE TO BUY IT AT SUCH AN EXPENSIVE PRICE.

Writes well but ink blurs and separates after a few weeks
It does write well: the ink bleeds into the paper very little, dries quickly, no skips unless you draw a long line very quickly, reasonably comfortable grip, and is a very dark true looking black. The problem comes after you write. After a few weeks the ink blurs and separates, going from crisp black lines to ugly smear as the colorants seep out and/or degrade. One reviewer stated it turns green. Usually it turns purplish for me. It also reacts differently on different papers. At the end of the day it doesn't matter what the exact color is, just that it blurs and doesn't stay black. If you need a permanent black pen, do NOT buy this one!

The Best!
My very favorite pen for years! Writes beautifully, fits my small hand perfectly, does not leak. Never care to use any other pen.
