Risk of melting plastic lens or the bulb holder?** A: They barely get warm, I can't imagine these melting anything. BTW, the "warm-white" version bulbs are a bit on the amber spectrum of white light, compared to other warm-white LED bulbs, but still completely useable. **Q: It is mentioned that the bulb diameter is 0.35”, how come it is T10?** A: This bulb is very close to the same size as a 194 incandescent bulb. The wedge that plugs into your socket is the same as a 194 as well. I don't know why they call it a T10. It's diameter is not that large. **Q: does it have an LED chip on both sides or only one?** A: Both sides. Pretty good little bulbs. **Q: Are these dimmable?** A: mine were not dimmable. I put them in my gauge cluster, when i turn the knob to dim them the barely dim, but then turning the knob half way they completely shut off. So I do not get any real gradient of dimming.
