Outstanding customer service for a great product
Ordered this product because the big box stores don't carry a front handle dual flush kit. While I didn't expect to have to remove the tank in order to do the installation, that wasn't too difficult. When I installed everything and turned the water on for the first time, the fill valve malfunctioned and leaked water from the top, which came off. I contacted the company directly through their website on a Sunday afternoon by email and got an answer within an hour, offering to send me a new fill valve the next day. Because I needed to get the toilet working again, I purchased a universal fill valve and told them they didn't need to send me a replacement. They offered to pay the $8 I spent on that replacement. Wow! What incredible customer service on a Sunday night no less! I was very impressed. The product works very well and I would definitely buy it again.

Seems pretty well made but so far I have been unable to get the overflow pipe to extend. This must be a common problem because the instructions say to keep trying to move it around till it becomes unstuck. I used 2 pairs of pliars together to try and get the thing to budge and just managed to mangle the top of it. This wouldn't be such a problem but my tank is not filling up quite enough to get the half flush to work without holding the handle for 2 seconds.

Super easy conversion
I love this product! I also got the fluidmaster 2" for our other toilet and while I didn't have to remove the tank with that one the seal on the flapper took a ton of tweaking to get to sit right. Not so with the smarter flush! Down for pee up for poo super easy to make sure little humans waste less. My only caveat is if you have a narrow tank like I do getting the cord between the handle and the flushing mechanism to sit properly is a bit of trial and error.

THE best customer service ever!
I have had this flush system for quite a few years now, and I love it! And the customer service is unparalleled! Any trouble I had with installation and product fitting issues (I have a weird toilet) they went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied with the system, and even immediately shipped me a part for free, so that the system would fit better with my toilet. And still years later, they're so kind as to immediately replace the handle for free that broke due to normal wear and tear (and probably my rough-handed kids, lol)!Originally I got this system because I wanted a more efficient, more powerful system, that was also eco-friendly, and that's exactly what I got! With the old traditional chain system, the chains would often rust and have to be replaced, sometimes the toilet would just run until someone noticed it, and between the laughable flush power and their obsession with using too much toilet paper, my children was constantly clogging the toilet! This system has helped to eliminate all those problems, with the exception of the occasional unavoidable clog, lol. But honestly, I truly feel like we've upgraded by a lot with this system. Totally worth every penny!!!

Nope
Update: In the span of 4 days, I have discovered it "stuck" and endlessly filling the reservoir 3 times. It's going back, save yourself the time and hassle.1. The handle must be turned fully and held there momentarily to properly flush, and the flushing mechanism is hard, so hard that my kids (ages 2-10) lack the hand strength to fully engage flush mechanism.2. Flushes are inconsistent. Despite what seems like hours of adjustments, sometimes the flushes fully evacuate, sometimes it just stays in the bowl. I have no idea why it sometimes flushes and sometimes only pretends to flush.3. Occasionally it sticks open. I awoke this morning to find that the mechanism had stuck on fill, and had been running all night. I'm pretty sure that means that I just blew whatever water savings I might have experienced over the next year and a half.

Id buy again
I wish the flush handle was made a little more rigid and with a chrome option. The mechanism works really well but the 1 visible piece looks cheap.

Not bad but does have some quirks but no deal breakers...
All in all not a bad purchase but honestly there are a few quirks...Pros:Install is easy if you are handy.it does save some waterfairly reliablecomes with new gaskets and bolts if you need themCons:Install does require removing the toilet reservoirin a smaller toilet working with this was very tightyou have to use the provided float stop to get the levels right.Up is full down is less water (Most commercial toilets reverse this)If you push the handle down to far it will stick open.Finding a toilet dual flush for a toilet with a 3 inch drain is a surprising pain. If you have a 2 or 2,5 inch drain there are tons of options but for 3 inches your choices are limited to this and maybe 1 other. I think these work ok but the finish on the handle really leaves a lot to be desired. I am guessing that you might be able to swap this with a handle from a better dual flush system but I'm not dropping another 30 each just for a better handle... It is very cheap feeling plastic and I do wonder how soon we will snap it. I installed 2 of these and they are still working 6 month from install but I do have concerns, like what design flaw allows the plunger to stay open? My kids are oblivious and when they hit it too hard the plunger stays open allowing water to just drain. This is the reason I swapped from a traditional setup. But I guess it does happen far less. I did use the new foam ring when installing but their bolts they provide felt cheap and flimsy so I reused my old ones. I don't have any leaks on either toilet. I will also say that up for full flush is counter-intuitive for me. I have been around dual flush toilets for a decade or more and all of them are down for full flush and up for less water, but this one is reverse and I end up wasting water on an extra flush at times. If you can handle the quirks this isn't a bad option....Just my thoughts,AK
