Great bag for a great price.
Just got the bag so I haven't had much time with it but the initial reaction is good. The solar charger is slim and feels pretty sturdy for the thickness. Battery is decent sized and seems to charge up in a matter of a few hours. Haven't used the water pack yet but is plenty big enough for a days worth of water at a music festival or nice hike in the heat. Storage space isn't huge but plenty big enough for gadgets and basic travel items. I have read others say to leave or protect your electronics that are stored in the bag incase condensation gets the bag wet. I haven't used item enough to see if this is an issue. The build quality seems durable and strong. I am 6'2" and 250 pounds. The bag straps around me comfortable with plenty more room if needed. So far I am happy with the purchase and I can't wait to get out and use the bag to it's full potential which should be soon here in this Texas heat. I also plan on ordering another one for my girlfriend since she is already jealous of it.

Great little package for outdoor endevors
Right on. I was originally shopping for just a solar panel to take backpacking. I needed something lightweight, that I could attach or otherwise fit in my pack, and with a USB option so I could charge my power bank while on trail. Someone pointed me toward Sunlabz, as they were able to buy the solar panel separately a few months back, but when I checked, only the backpack set was available.I was a little sad I had to spend almost three times the amount to get three pieces of equipment I already have, but now that it's arrived I'm quite happy that things ended up this way!You get five pieces in the package:*Solar panel*10,000 mah battery pack*1/2 foot cord*small back pack*hydration bladderThe solar panel is the star of the show for me. It has a matte finish and is about 6oz, including the grommets and 'case' surrounding it. It has a matte finish and no heavy glass top to break or shatter. It is easily hooked on to my backpack with two lightweight caribiners and has a small pocket on the back that contains the USB port. It is big enough that it can hold the charging cord and one or two small things like a memory card or small camera and phone peripherals. I was able to successfully charge the battery pack by putting the solar charger at a 45* angle in full sun. I unfortunately wasn't able to leave it outside long enough to measure how long it takes to completely charge the included battery pack, but I plan to try it out this weekend. The power bank is quite heavy - about 12-16 oz. I let it charge through my wall charger since we were having a particularly cloudy week when it arrived. It has charged my iphone about 3 times from 20% or less and still has some juice. I like that it has a little LED light that flashes blue and red so you know it's activated. I plugged the charger in around 9 AM and when I came back at 7 pm the power bank was fully charged. Your mileage may vary depending on if you plug into a wall versus a USB port on a laptop,My biggest surprise is how comfortable the backpack is. Not in the same realm as Osprey or Gregory, but very wearable. There is a wide waist belt that you can adjust - the webbing does need to be broken in a little as it is stiff.I won't be bringing the backpack on my backpacking trip due to weight, but I most certainly foresee myself using the backpack and hydration bladder while bicycling as there is a enough room for water and a few snacks plus my IDs.

Nicer than expected
This is nicer in person than it looks on the web site. So often it's the other way around, but when I got this I thought, "wow, this is really nice fabric. Color is richer than the bright red it appears to be." I half expected it to be kind of cheap, relying on the gimmick of the solar panel. It's not. It's a quality camel back back pack. Perfect for day hikes. If you are like me and you geo-track all your hikes, you may know the frustration of having your phone die mid-hike. Now I have a hedge against that. Coolio.

I bought this for my daughter, who wanted it ...
I bought this for my daughter, who wanted it for her annual trip to Burning Man. Why she needs it in the playa where there is no signal, you got me. Maybe to take pictures with. Dropped a star because it takes forever to actually charge the phone even when the cells are in direct sunlight for hours, but that shouldn't matter as she will be sitting doing nothing for hours during the day anyway. Backpack itself is decent and well-made and with the bladder, I'll know she will still stay somewhat hydrated while visiting the yearly hippie commune...I mean "Artist" gathering.

Gift for sister
Well I got this as a present for my sister & I asked her how well she liked it & she said "She absolutely loves it"She said it has worked very well for her & her kids because they go to Disneyland a lot so she takes it & charges her phones. So far she hasn't had any kind of problems & we hope she doesn't.Thank You!!

Ended up with a dead phone for 2 days
Bought this for because of all the music festivals/general outdoor activities I enjoy. I used this pack once and the solar panel no longer charges. I didn't have a back up panel, so I was out of luck for 2 days. Save your money and buy a beefier solar panel and hook it to a hydration pack. Wish I could return this item.
