The laptop had only one RAM Stick & instead of OEM, someone install a 2GB PC2-6400 RAM, DDR2 633MHz? Why the Laptop done poorly on online, using your RAM the Most! These two RAM PC2-6400 RAM, DDR2 800MHz what it called for? 2,4 or max 8GB RAM for 32bit AMD Toshiba Laptop. WOW, this 4GB (2x2GB) really change the functions of it! Sadly, the 2x4GB (8GB or high for this older laptop)... But his price was great, affordable and work great. If he had 2x4 GB later may upgrade, 4gb good for now!

Bought this memory to upgrade a pair of AsRock G41C-GS R2.0 motherboards from 4GB total to 8 GB total.Removed the original 2 dimms and replaced them with the new pair. Closed up the case, connected cables, and power and booted the PC. Booted without any issues and Windows 10 recognized the new correct total of 8 GB.The second PC is still running Windows 7. Followed the same sequence as above and booted the PC. Windows 7 recognized the new correct total of 8 GB.The reason for the upgrade was that my browser had started crashing with the latest upgrade. The cause of the crashes may have been not enough memory available. Time will tell. Have not noticed any overall change in the Windows 7 machine. The windows 10 machine seems to be a bit "livelier" overall. Will follow up in a few months, if there are any issues.

Worked great and really easy install

Dropped these into a 15 year old MacBook and upgraded from 2GB to 8GB memory (2x the max in the Apple spec.) $15 well spent.

I needed this for an old Dell Optiplex to increase capacity from 4GB to 8GB. The specs matched what was already installed. I replaced all the ram. It's SK Hynix chips.I tested 3+ passes with memtest. No errors. See attached screenshot.I'm very happy with these, and will buy them again if I need more.UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW:These completed over 5 passes of memtest with no errors and I wrote my positive review. Later I noticed that the system now failed to POST most of the time when cold booting (Rebooting always worked). When this happened, nothing would show on screen and the PC would freeze while showing a diagnostic LED pattern (Screenshot of that code explained in the service manual is attached to this review). Re-seating didn't help. Since there aren't many alternatives in the 1333MHz 2x4GB flavor I decided to to give this brand a second try. The replacement set works great. No more boot issues. Memtest86 completed several passes.I'm removing a star for poor QC. I've learned from experience that it's always necessary to test new RAM. Since this set was defective I wasted more time trying to troubleshoot than I should have.The system I used this in is a Dell Optiplex 990 USFF (i5-2490). The CPU supports 1066/1333MHz ram (9-9-9-24), but will clock down faster RAM if all you can find is 1600Mhz 11CL. The CPU also supports up to 32GB, except the manual says this particular PC and form factor can only support 8GB total (2x4GB). I tried a 16GB 1600MHz kit and things looked good at first, but it would crash after 2 successful passes of memtest. If you have this exact PC, you're probably better off sticking with these RoyeMai/D DUOMEIQI. However if your system can handle more, Teamgroup has a 2x8GB/16GB 1600MHz kit at a lower price.

My old laptop (circa 2011) only had 4GB of ram. I just use it for simple stuff like occasional streaming, spreadsheets, documents, browsing, web design, etc. It's been a good laptop but was starting to get slow (especially multi-tab browsing and web design). Swapped that old ram for 2 of these and the computer feels almost like a new one; snappy, responsive, fast booting. I recommend looking at your current memory before ordering, just to be absolutely sure you're ordering compatible memory.I also can't complain about the price. For <$150 I basically rebuilt and modernized that old laptop with a new battery, new keyboard, 4x the memory and a wireless numberpad/bigger touchpad. I didn't have to change the hard drive because it was already SSD. Decent!

Simple to install and activate: 1) removed 4 2 GB memory cards, replaced with these 4 4GB cards. On bootup, Windows recognized change in memory size, one keystroke to update. That was all! Worked perfectly with no hassle.

Breathed new life into an old computer. Recognized instantly, no problems. Great deal
