Just about the only healthy low carb protein bar!
Barebells taste like candy bars for a reason -- they're loaded with carbs, specifically malitol -- whose glycemic index can be as high as sugar. I won't say No Cow Bars taste like candy bars, but that's one reason I trust them. Low in net carbs, high in protein, and plant fats, they're plenty palatable -- unlike Quest bars -- and I certainly never got tired of them, after going through a 12 pack in one week. A note: they carry nearly half of your daily dietary fiber (you can subtract those grams from carbohydrates to get the net carb count). That's great for your digestion, but if you're not used to a lot of fiber, I wouldn't chow down on 2-3 bars a day. Your GI tract might protest. (Fiber can cause gas/bloating early on). These bars use a sugar alcohol that has a glycemic index of 0. I don't get a sugar high from them, as I do from Barebells, so I trust the ingredients.

Healthy and packed with protein
I eat a No Cow protein bar every morning because there is nothing like them in terms of nutrition. I am so happy to have found them. I love all the flavors, but these are so incredibly delicious! They actually taste like a cookie, but contain almost no sugar. They're high in protein and fiber, low in net carbs, and basically everything you would want in a protein bar. Plus, they're plant-based and gluten-free! They're also a great texture. These protein bars are so worth every penny and make you feel so happy. Thanks No Cow for an incredible product. I am loyal for life. I make sure I'm always stocked up in every flavor. Try these bars - you'll be so happy you did!

Different than the "same" product in stores
I buy these from Pete's and they actually taste like cookie dough. These are... different. Chalky, darker colored, stale, barely tolerable. Beyond confused and disappointed- these should be labeled "old formula" if they're old. Technically not expired but if you told me they were a year past the date I'd say "oh, that makes perfect sense". Terrible.

great bar to grab when you need be filled
As a construction worker, I'm always on the lookout for convenient and satisfying snacks to fuel me through long days on the job site. The No Cow Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Protein Bars definitely caught my attention, and I have to say, they've exceeded my expectations in many ways. First off, let's talk about the taste. As someone who's tried their fair share of protein bars, I can honestly say that these bars are delicious. The chocolate chip cookie dough flavor is spot on, and it's a welcome change from some of the bland or overly sweet options out there. In terms of nutrition, these bars definitely deliver. With 20 grams of protein per bar and only 1 gram of sugar, they provide a satisfying boost of energy without the crash. Plus, they're vegan and gluten-free, which is a huge plus for those with dietary restrictions or preferences. The convenience factor is also worth mentioning. Whether I'm on a lunch break or in need of a quick pick-me-up during a busy day, having these bars on hand has been a lifesaver. They're portable, mess-free, and easy to stash in my toolbox or lunch bag. The only reason I'm not giving these bars a full five stars is because I find them a bit on the chewy side. While some may prefer this texture, I personally prefer a softer consistency. However, it's a minor gripe compared to all the positives these bars offer. Overall, the No Cow Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Protein Bars are a solid option for anyone looking for a tasty and convenient protein boost on the go. Whether you're hitting the gym or hitting the job site like me, these bars are sure to satisfy. Four stars from this construction worker!

Gluten free dairy free, low sugar.
These taste odd, but having said that I really like them. I cannot have soy, gluten, or dairy. Finding a protein bar without any of those ingredients is very challenging to say the least. I was eating Quest bars thinking the whey protein was my only option based on my searches. Then I noticed I felt bloated after which can only be attributed to the dairy. Sooo back to the drawing board. I found these an althought he texture is interesting and they taste nothing like cookie dough, the protein isn't dairy or soy, sugar is low and they are fairly clean with very few ingredients. If you have a lot of gut issues try these. They are the best I have found.

Tasty vegan protein bars
No cow is one of the best vegan protein bars Iโve found. The cookie dough flavor is great. They recently changed the formula. It tastes even better. Before it had a stronger molasses flavor, but itโs more subtle now. The chocolate brownie is another good flavor. They bars are not hard or chalky. They have a soft, chewy consistency. Highlights: high protein content, low saturated fat, no cholesterol, no added sugar (but it has sugar alcohols), great flavor, sodium only 9% (not bad comparatively). Caution: The other flavors can be hit or miss.

An "Ok" protein bar.
These are solid choice for a vegan protein bar. They are very high in protein and have good ingredients. The flavor is ok, but I would not call it great. They use a mix of Erythritol, Stevia, and Monk Fruit as a sweetener. I find things with Erythritol get a funny aftertaste. Some people don't mind it, but I notice it. I would prefer these were made with just Stevia and think they would taste better if they were. But, they are not bad, they are OK. I would still get them again as they are solid in terms of protein and are 100% vegan. I wish I could buy them one at a time to try the different flavors and not have to commit to a whole box of a flavor. That would make it easier to determine which are best flavor wise. Overall, yes, I would buy again.
