A: At least an hour but it was still cold . Best ice pack I have owned.  Other ice packs don't stay cold as long as this one. Very pleased 4 1/2 star

A: It is about  17 or 18mm thick.   This is very good quality and I would recommend it. The 3 sections make it easy to use.

**Q: Why is this advertised as a 2 pack when there is only one gel pack?  There is a card to get a free gel pack, but that is not what is advertised.**

Love this product. I got it to use after my surgery to use for healing. I love these because you can use them both hot and cold, so they were great for swelling, but they work great for my husbands sore shoulders! Will possibly go back and buy some of the larger ones.

I have used this manufacturer before for an XL cold/hot pack. So when I needed smaller packs I returned for more. Very durable covering. Easier to maintain flat positioning in freezer. Worked well and holds the cold longer than other cold packs I had used previously. Definitely recommend. Cost is a little more but well worth it. Some flexibility and able to adjust for positioning. No leakage after 20 uses for cold ( returned to freezer between uses). Size was perfect for my husbands hand both preop and postop.
