Sturdy and Fun - Great Scooter for All Ages!
As a parent, I'm always on the lookout for quality, durable toys and sports equipment for my kids, and the LaScoota Kick Scooter definitely fits the bill. After several weeks of use, I'm impressed enough to leave this review - something I don't do often!Pros:Versatile for Various Ages: The scooter is marketed for kids aged 6+, but even teens and adults can enjoy it. This versatility makes it a great buy for families. My 9-year-old and 10-year-old both ride it comfortably. I have even used it several times.Sturdy Build: The construction is solid. It doesn't feel flimsy or cheap, which is a relief considering how rough kids can be. The frame is robust and has endured quite a few bumps and drops already.Smooth Ride: The 8" urethane wheels make a noticeable difference. They glide smoothly on different terrains – from pavements to slightly rougher park paths. My kids have remarked on how "smooth and fast" it feels.Safety First: The braking system is reliable and easy to use, which is a huge plus in my book. I appreciate that my kids can slow down safely, especially when they're getting a bit too adventurous.Easy to Handle: Despite its sturdiness, the scooter is not overly heavy. My younger child can handle it without much struggle, and it's easy to carry when needed.Cons:Price Point: It is a bit on the expensive side, but I believe the quality justifies the cost. It's an investment in a scooter that won't need replacing any time soon.Storage Size: It's a bit larger than some other scooters, so storing it takes a bit more space. Not a major issue, but something to consider if you're tight on space. In conclusion, the LaScoota Kick Scooter is a fantastic choice for families looking for a reliable, fun, and safe scooter. It's well-built, easy to ride, and should last for years to come. Highly recommended!

Feels Sturdy
My 13 year old son, who has a height of 5 ft 6 in and weigh 105 lb, loves his Lascoota Scooter! This is his first set of wheels, besides the kiddie tricycle he had when he was 3 yrs old--which he only rode less than 10 times. He has been riding it ever since he got it on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. So it's been four days thus far. I even rode it too and I love it!I noticed that the lowest height setting is great for both my son and I--I'm 5 ft 8 in and 137 lb. The adult Lascoota Scooter is a great scooter for even taller people. The weight limit is 220 lbs though, so I'm not sure if you can exceed that, as my son and I are both underweight, and we haven't even tried to attempt to test the weight limit. Now, the downside--which wasn't really a problem for me, but I still need to point it out just in case someone else comes across this same issue:*Box: When I received the scooter, the amazon box was open halfway. The scooter box was slightly torn. However, there was no damage to the scooter itself, except for a white line streak on the griptape.*Overall, the scooter is sturdy and has a good weight to it. The handles feel great--a great grip.*Scooter Handles: Out the box, the handles did not go in at all! I had to use a slotted screwdriver, aka flat head screwdriver, to slightly open the handlebar holder after removing the clamp, and then insert the handles one by one, while still holding the holder open with the screwdriver. I then screwed the clamp back on. Though this occurred, I was never going to fold the scooter or remove the handlebars afterwards, so I was fine with this. It also reassures me that the handles will never pop out 'by accident'.*Scooter Deck: Out the box, the scooter griptape on the deck was slightly peeled of towards the ends. This resolved itself later. I guess it had to do with the shipping or something, but now it's not an issue.Overall, I give this scooter five stars, because even though it started out a bit rocky out the box, there was no issue afterwards and I love seeing my son outdoors with a huge smile on his face. Did I mention the awesome big wheels! Oh yeah, one more thing, my son wears a size 10 1/2 in US men and there is still a bit of space left when he places his whole foot on it. So about a size 11 1/2 max would be a comfortable fit. I am definitely getting myself one too!

Great Scooters!
I bought two of these scooters for my 6 and 8 year old daughters in different colors. It seems that the different colors may also be slightly different models- which I didn't realize sooner. Its not a deal breaker as these beautiful, sturdy and easy to maneuver scooters were the perfect introduction to two wheeled scooters. I know that the girls will continue to enjoy them for years to come because they just look sooo cool. Also, I can ride the scooter when one of them gets tired... and its actually an enjoyable experience. So, for the one unexpected issue (very small issue I would not have noticed had I not also received a more updated model)... The light blue one has a locking mechanism which you can toggle to engage/ disengage the button used to collapse the scooter. The button was easier to push and my 6 year old can fold and unfold on her own. Unfortunately, the plum colored one only has a VERY hard to push red button that needs to be slid up in order to collapse the scooter. My 8 year old is often disappointed that she cannot close the thing on her own and to be honest, it's quite difficult for me to fold down as well (the button is very hard to compress). I really don't think we would have even noticed had we not had a direct comparison to an easier to collapse model. All around FANTASTIC product though and I would not hesitate to buy again. Its fun that other adults stop me to ask me where I got this cool looking scooter (it has kind of a retro vespa like vibe- very cool).

Great gift for 14 year old
My teen son wanted a new scooter for Christmas but normal ones are too small. We went with the La Scoota and were very pleased. Love the durability of the tires and the wider base platform. It’s a great price for the quality and size. Love that the handle bars adjust and the scooter folds very easy and locks. Set up took 1 min. It was a great gift for a 14 year old boy.

Solid Cruising Scooter for Teens and Adults
It's been a few years since I have been on one of these, but it brought back some fond memories :)The scooter is sturdily built and seems to have no problem holding someone with my frame (6', 200 lbs) and could certainly be adjusted to fit someone much smaller. It seems good for cruising around the neighborhood or campus, but I would not recommend it for doing any sort of tricks. The scooter folds up nice and small by pushing on a small red button at the bottom of the scooter and bringing the handle bars toward the deck. The scooter does have some unique features compared to Razor scooters. I have used The wheels are quite large, which makes for a better ride. However, I am not sure if or where you would find a replacement. The handlebars are made of a hard, rubbery material instead of the foam-like material on Razor scooters. The hard, rubbery material is less comfortable, but at least you would not have to worry about the handles ripping or falling off ;) I am not sure what to make of the kickstand... I guess maybe some people like to prop up their scooter. The one slight defect I noted when riding it was a bubble in the grip tape. The bubble is not large, but it does make a popping sound when I step on it.Overall, pretty happy with the scooter! It will be nice to take out for a spin. Four stars :)

Great Scooter, Great Price
I got the yellow Teen sized scooter. The yellow is a nice almost safety yellow color, though not quite as bright. The visibility is great! The size is perfect for me at 5'4 120 pounds and a size 7 womens' shoe. If your feet are larger or you are over 150 pounds, I'd suggest sizing up to the adult size.It rides nice. Easy to handle and can pick up some decent speed. It is very lightweight (less than 10 pounds) so I was worried it would feel chinzy, but it's pretty solid. Not like a heavy electric scooter, but great for the weight. It's so easy to fold up and take with you! I use it for quick trips to the store and sometimes, instead of locking it up outside, I just carry it in with me. It's also great for the gym. It's absolutely perfect for public transportation. I live just far enough from a SunRail station that walking takes too long, but driving and parking is a pain. Not only does this make getting there quicker, but (unlike a bike) i can fold it up and sit anywhere. Whith a bike I have to stay on the bottom of the train. This was a really great buy!

Bought this in August, now I need to return- BUYER BEWARE
Bought this in August for a child to get to and from school easier (a short distance from home). Everything seemed fine. Couldn't really figure out how to collapse it; it was really hard and difficult to collapse it. Now I'm looking to return it/receive a refund because after using it only a dozen or so times due to inclement weather, the handlebars are sliding out easily yet are difficult to get put back in. The handles are not locking in place, and will slip out on just a light pull, which makes it VERY DANGEROUS to ride at all, even just down the street. The locking mechanism the collapse it and keep it collapse does not work. When in a riding position, when slight bit of pressure is put on the handlebars, the lock gives way and collapses the handlebar area, which again, makes it VERY DANGEROUS to ride for a child, let alone an adult which it can accommodate. It was great when we first got it. Seemed sturdy and reliable. Thought it would last us a long time, seeing it can handle the weight of a full-grown man+. For only a 13-year-old, and it only lasts 4 months? This isn't worth it for this price. Seems we fell for a product we thought was made well and would be a favorite way to transport for a long time. We were looking into buying another around the middle of December for a friend of ours, but got sidetracked and bought something else, but that person's birthday was approaching, and we were going to purchase another again. I WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND purchasing this at all. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Happy I purchased it
Things I like:* folds very quickly, easy to carry and get on/off transit, solid but not too heavy* Attractive--doesn't look like a kid's scooter, more like an e-scooter* Super easy to assemble, well designed in general* Rides well, fits my height (5'10")* Great valueThings I'd tweak (but not enough of an issue to knock it down a star):* Deck could be a little wider, a little hard to switch kick feet while riding* Squeaks a little bit* I'd prefer hand brakesOverall would definitely recommend. A good first choice if you're not sure what kind of mobility device you'll want longer term; I was thinking about an e-scooter or foldable e-bike and got this for a start and am glad I did to familiarize myself with roads. Even if I eventually get a more expensive device I could see myself using this when I want some light exercise.

Bluedart: Unreliable and irresponsible Courier
Bluedart, the courier assigned by Amazon took 10 days to claim the item from customs. It was cleared by customs on 25th June and Bluedart picked it up on 6th June for delivery. How irresponsible. The item is ok, as described by the seller
