Amazing pan!
Brilliant pan, especially for the price. It come pre-seasoned, but I seasoned mine again 3 times before using just to make sure. Cooks wonderfully, washes well and looks and feels like it will last a very long time. I’ve used it numerous times and had no problems. Wash after use (once it’s cooled down) with warm water and a little dish soap with a soft sponge, rinse then dry. I place mine back on the hob for 2 mins after drying to make sure all water has gone. Then add a little vegetable oil and rub round the entire pan ready for its next use, buffing it in with kitchen roll until it doesn’t feel oily to touch. Every use, it gets better! Those complaining about rust and sticking must not be looking after it correctly. If you take care of it, make sure it’s completely dry after washing, you’ll have no problems and it’ll last forever (or until you drop it and crack it!).

Best.Purchase.EVER
Flet obliged to write my review for this absolutely brillliant product. First off, had a bit of issue with the delivery because the box came in damaged (I am not sure if from seller or courier fault). I made a complaint and the seller, after ensuring the item is still in good condition, offered a bit of refund (which I highly appreciated). Now, the pan is pre-seasoned however I still seasoned one more time. I have used this pan for several times now since I bought it and I have never been so happy with my steak quality. I followed the suggestion of how to maintain it and so far it just performs at its best. Never had any "sticking issues" unlike the other reviewers. I highly recommend this one. Best. Purchase. Ever!

Really good now!
The pan is a great size and not too heavy. The pouring lips are good too. The first thing that struck was how rough the inside is. See pic. t is supplied supposedly pre seasoned. The inside was sticky in places. That aside the idea of buy and pan and using it without cleaning it first seems a little odd. The the preseasoning is a bit redundant. I gave it a light scrub and then seasoned it in the oven. I then used it for some deep frying. After that I was able to fry an egg with only a little oil and it didn’t stick which I thought was miraculous given how rough it is inside. When you wipe it outwith a paper towel it lightly shreds the paper! Still I will stick with it. And hope that increasing layers of seasoning will gradually make it smoother. Now I’ve had for a while I’ve added a star. By looking after it and seasoning it when needed it has become my go to pan for so many dishes from omelettes to steak to deep frying falafel! I will say that like any cast iron skillet it has to live on the stove. Also, predictably the seasoning process does produce a bit of smoke and smell so it’s probably not for everyone. I totally love it and wish I’d bought one years ago instead of wasting money on expensive ‘non stick’ pans that fail after a few weeks of use and can’t be used for searing at high temperatures.

Pan seems decent
Pan seems sturdy not cooked with it yet ive seen people saying this isnt pre seasoned it definitely is. i noticed some flaking near the handle so boiled some vinegar in it and the factory seasoning started coming off. so it is probably pre seasoned just not well. even with seasoning if you do not get these pans up to temp before you start cooking food will stick How i seasoned: scrubbed with soapy water then vinegar until i started seeing shiny bare metal a bit rinsed with water and then dried with paper towel (important if you dont dry it quickly it will rust) put into the oven for like 5 minutes to make sure it was completely dry (if too wet before drying in oven it may rust if this happens scrub in the sink with some soapy water the rust should go away and repeat steps make sure you get it completely dry with the paper towel) after it is out of the oven coat in thin layer of rapeseed oil then put in the oven for 1 hour 10 mins on max heat once its done let it cool ad coat in oil / heat 11 or 2 more times My pan after 3 seasonings

Takes some practice but it's worth it.
I've had a cast iron pan in the past and thought I'd get another, this is really good for the money, I've used it for about a month so far and it has worked perfectly the whole time. It is more effort than a regular pan, you need to do some research and don't expect it to be perfect straight away, wipe a little veg oil on it and stick it on the oven for an hour, do this 3/4 times in the first week and do it again every 2-4 weeks and this helps keep it non stick. Dont submerge it in water or use a dishwasher and dry thourally afterwards and even stick it on the hob for 5 mins after to get it completely dry as it can rust easily, also you want to cook with a little extra oil or fatty food to begin with but now I can cook bacon, eggs and steaks with no sticking at all. The final thing about this that is amazing is being able to put it straight in the oven for example if cooking chicken breast you can marinade or season it and fry and crisp up the skin and outside and then stick it in the oven in the pan to finish cooking. Anyways it's amazing, if you don't mind the extra time it takes when you first get it to make it into a great pan then I would 100% recommend it, if you want one perfectly non stick to start with you may have to go for a more expensive pan but this is really amazing for the price and makes the best food I've had in a long time.

Poor Quality with enamel chipping when hi
I was excited to pirates this cast iron pan after the positive reviews. When I received the pan, I washed it in soapy water and followed the instructions to apply a thin layer of vegetable oil on the surface of the pan and preheat the pan, crank it up to 180°C and place the pan upside down on the rack inside the oven for one hour. Then leave the pan in oven for 45 mins and flip it over to bake for an additional 15 mins. I warmed the pan on low heat and oiled it again to cook naan bread. The bread stuck to the surface of the pan and pulled off the enamel. I added a little oil again but it continued to stick. The enamel of the pan came off the surface of the pan and I had black chipped enamel pieces in the pan with the bread. I reported this to the seller and sent a photo of the broken and chipped enamel in the pan. I received a response from the seller, dismissing this defect with a 25% discount and to keep the pan. The discount was processed immediately without an opportunity to reject the offer and I was cut off to respond back to the seller. I immediately opted to return the defective item and Amazon stepped up with a refund of the balance of the item. No amount of re-seasoning can fix a broken chipped enamel car iron pan. It is recommended to avoid using a chipped and broken enamel cast iron pan for cooking. The main concern is that the chipped enamel could continue to break off, potentially contaminating your food. While the exposed cast iron is not inherently dangerous, the risk of ingesting enamel fragments is a significant health concern. Extremely disappointed with the quality of this product and the service of the seller to return it replace the defective item. I would not recommend purchasing this product.

Incredible value
Long term review here. I've used these pans, both the smaller and the larger one, for a little more than 18 months. In that time, they've been used and abused a LOT. I've re-seasoned the pans 2-3 times in that time period after some exceptionally aggressive stains (burned honey residue from glazing, for example). They've gone through smash burgers, omelettes, pan pizza and been on the stove and in the oven. As long as you know what you're doing with cast iron, these might last generations. The larger pan initially came skewed. Returned it for a new one that was good. QA may be a bit shoddy from this company? Inspect your pan and don't be afraid to return it if it's not in good condition from the start. Positives: + Cheap price, good quality. + All metal (you can use it in the oven and on a grill with no worry). + After some time, it can develop a fantastic patina (almost non-stick!), though this is down to how YOU treat the pan. Negatives: - The lettering under the pan loves trapping water. I use a sheet of paper towel to dab it dry after washing, no rust yet. - Short handle means less leverage. Might be difficult to use one-handed, especially the larger pan. - While an all metal pan means you can put it in the oven it also means the handle gets scorching hot. Keep a towel/oven mitt nearby or get some type of handle sleeve. Conclusion: 5 stars. These pans are proof that iron = iron. I have other pans from fancier brands long with an inheritance pan from my great-grandfather and there is honestly little to no difference. These are especially good for someone who's new to cast iron since they're inexpensive. Learn the material with these before you look at the nicer brands or the family heirloom.

Fijne pan, past net op een 21" kamado
Fijne skillet, past net op een 21" kamado. Er kan weinig stuk aan een pan van gietijzer dus veel meer kan ik er niet over vertellen.
