The is perfect for the .22 cleaning pellets. I like how you can adjust the pellet pressure by screwing the pellet further on the shaft, expanding the pellet.....great design.

perhaps not the best adapter if you're using the VFG brand pellets
fits the cleaning rod well...and it may well work beautifully with the Tipton brand of cleaning pellets. Unfortunately that was not the case with the VFG pellets at least in .22 caliber. The pellets are not well secured.

Pellets will not stay on this jag if pulled back through barrel
Fits both bore and pellets fine. Quality jag. However the pellets will not stay on the jag if it is pulled back through the bore. A one way only device. disappointing.

The pellet jag needs improvements
I really like the Tipton pellets, but their pellet jag needs improvements. The pellet wont stay on if you pull it back through the bore. There's no way to keep tension on the pellet so it pushes against the bore tightly. Needs to be nickel plated for aggressive bore solvents.
