Not worth it
This book is in desperate need of an editor. It is RIDDLED with grammatical errors and incoherent sentences that ruins any valuable information it might have to offer. The writing is so bad it’s painful. I am completely new to bookkeeping and this book did not improve my financial knowledge or skills in the slightest. The only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one is that there was SOME valuable information offered, such as the difference between cash and accrual accounting, single and double entry, and the pros and cons of each method. Overall, however, this information could have filled a few pages. The largest disappointment is definitely the writing. I feel like a broken record at this point but it’s just that bad. If the author were to have hired an editor to help him condense his thoughts into a quick 40-50 page primer that could be sold for $5, then this could be valuable. Don’t pay $20 for a 145 page book when you could get the same information in an article with a quick Google.

It's okay, could have more in it
it was helpful, but examples on how accounts are recorded would've been more helpful in the book.

Gramatical errors galore
Many grammatical errors and the author calls the father of accounting "Luca Pacino" it's Luca Pacioli.
