Neewer home run! Inexpensive, light and strong Tripod
Looked at dozens of inexpensive tripods and took a chance on this one. I wanted something light yet strong enough to hold my Canon T1i DSLR with a heavy telephoto lens attached. I was really surprised by the build quality of this tripod at this price point - mid $30 range at the time of my purchase. It seems very well designed and made from quality materials. A lot of tripods in this price range rely on plastic in critical places. This tripod utilizes cast aluminum for the leg supports, gimbal mount, and gimbal. I was not expecting that. The leg clamps and gimbal knobs are plastic but seem to be of good quality. The legs have nice rubber cushions on them but do not have the option of metal spikes. The included phone mount is very sturdy and should fit most phones currently on the market. The gimbal mount accommodates the universal size of Arca-Swiss standard. Overall, this thing is rock solid with my camera and lens combination at the max height. Very satisfied and would highly recommend this tripod.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Incredible quality for the price — shockingly good
I absolutely love this tripod. It’s hands down the best tripod I’ve owned outside of my Manfrotto — and honestly, this one might even be easier to use. It doesn’t feel like aluminum at all; it genuinely feels like carbon fiber. Super lightweight but extremely sturdy. The design is simple and intuitive with only about three knobs total, which makes setup fast and frustration-free. It does a full 360° rotation, extends very tall, and feels rock solid once locked in. It also comes with a phone holder, which is a huge bonus if you want to switch between a camera and an iPhone. There’s a built-in level, the quick-release plate is smooth and easy to use, and everything feels thoughtfully designed. The fact that this tripod costs under $60 is honestly wild. I’m confident enough in it that I’ll be using it for professional video shoots as well. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase — highly recommend.

Great value and a really good tripod
Great value tripod. I picked this up as I was heading for a trip out west and needed something easier to travel with. The ball head works well and easily comes off to pack away for the travel. It is lightweight and packs into a travel bag that I easily attached to my backpack. One design feature I really like is that one leg is removable to function as a monopod. One of the best photography purchases I've made. Overall: great value, sturdy, and versatile.

Great tripod at a reasonable price!
This tripod was a HUGE upgrade from my old one, and seems like a way more expensive tripod than it was. It is extremely versatile and worked in a wide range of locations. The length is great and gave me all the angles I needed. It's incredibly sturdy while still being portable. I added a high-end metal phone mount to replace the plastic one it came with, and that setup is perfect. Recommended!

Excellent purchase except for one minor detail.....
This is a great tripod. It's strong, sturdy, and surprisingly light. What a difference from my aluminum tripod! I was able to carry it all day and when I strap it on the bottom of my backpack, it's light enough that i know it's there, but it isn't wearing me down with the weight. The legs are sturdy and a huge plus is the one leg that turns into a monopod. That leg is designed to attach a ball head of your choice as it has the standard screw. The only problem I have with this it the attachment plate to the ball heard. The Manfrotto system is a system that once you lock it in, you can hear the snap and know for sure that the camera isn't going anywhere. The Neewer's plate is a screw on and when I looked at the connection it looked very sketchy and I didn't have the confidence that the camera was locked in place. So I had to swap out the ball heads to the Manfrotto ball head to feel secure the camera was locked in. That is the only complaint I have with the tripod. Other than that, it's a solid purchase and I highly recommend this one. Especially if you're on a budget where these things can upwards of $400.00.

Lightweight and heavy duty
I did a lot of research on which tripod to get for my Canon rebel T7. This tripod is amazing. It’s lightweight while still being heavy duty. I’ve used it in several outdoor locations as well as indoor and have not had a problem. Very sturdy and stable.I love the attachment that I can hook a bag to weigh it down to ensure extra stability.

Incredible stability and versatile features—fantastic tripod for travel or studio
I recently purchased the NEEWER 77-Inch Camera Tripod Monopod, and I’m seriously impressed with how solid and stable it is. The support and stability are incredible—even when fully extended, it holds my DSLR securely without wobbling, which gives me so much confidence when shooting long exposures or panoramas. The 360° panoramic ball head is super smooth and makes it easy to capture precise shots from any angle. I also love the 2-axis center column, which allows me to adjust the camera for overhead shots or low-angle photography—so versatile for different styles of shooting. Despite being sturdy, it’s lightweight and easy to carry thanks to the included travel bag. It folds down compact enough to fit into my backpack, which makes it perfect for travel photography. The Arca-type quick-release plate is reliable and saves time when switching between handheld and tripod shots. The build quality feels premium, and the legs lock firmly into place. For the price, it’s an amazing tripod that offers features you’d normally see in higher-end models. Pros: ✅ Incredible support and stability, even fully extended ✅ Smooth 360° panoramic ball head for versatile angles ✅ 2-axis center column great for overhead and low shots ✅ Lightweight yet sturdy—ideal for travel ✅ Arca-type quick-release plate for easy camera changes ✅ Holds up to 34 lbs, perfect for heavy gear Cons: ❌ Slightly bulky when folded compared to mini tripods ❌ Ball head adjustment knobs take a bit of getting used to

OK design but fragile It worked OK for 3 weeks. Then broke - no replacement parts. Then suddenly when setting it up, one leg section fell off, and the "chicken lips" which are plastic parts inside the leg, fell out. [see photo] [other buyers have same issue!] Plastic partly broke - no replacement parts - reassembled initially worked with a leg fixed at "open" but later it could no longer lock, making the tripod useless. The design seems flawed: there are no compression rings to stop the legs fully unscrewing. Also the chicken lips (plastic parts) have a little hook which is very easy to break. Now I bought a Three Legged Thing (Leo 2) - it also has "chicken lips" but they are simpler and replaceable, AND there is compression ring to stop the leg section falling out. I would not recommend this tripod - unless perhaps you are just taking photos in your living room or back garden - and even then ...
