One of the best tools invented. A bit costly, but can save a life which is worth every penny.

The fact the wheels are almost useless upset me. I use it close to 2-4 times a day. Only had it for 4 ish months. The red part is already getting worn down a lot. if they made a "skid" plat in that spot it would be a 5 star. But at some point I will have to replace the unit.

I am an insurance adjuster and this thing is a life saver. It doesn’t come with a pole but I bought the longest one from Home Depot and drilled out the hole for the pin. Works great and I have used it on 10/12 and 12/12 pitch roofs. The only drawback is you have to be able to reach the ridge with it. For me if it’s more than 18 feet from the ladder, I can’t reach the ridge. That issue is with the pole, not the Ridge Pro.
