Moved into a new (to me) condo in Florida. It had been vacant for awhile so I was nervous about the bug situation and the exterminator I used to use was not available for weeks - bought this and sprayed the condo. I think it worked! I had been seeing a roach or two (usually dead) - but since I sprayed (knock on wood) - no problem. No more paying for exterminators that don't get back to me - this is saving me a lot of money. (If you know Florida, you know the bugs...)

This product was very useful at home, but the cockroaches didn't truly disappear until we started sealing all the entry points they were using! We sealed the baseboards and light fixtures in the kitchen and bathroom, and applied insecticide under the refrigerator, dishwasher, and stove. As long as they keep getting in, nothing will really work! It was five months of desperation.

This works incredibly well. We had a huge ant problem in our appartment when we first moved in. We set out ant traps etc. The traps kept the ants coming. This stuff completely wiped them out. All I needed was a spray around the perimiter of the appartment and within ONE DAY, all the ants were dead and stopped coming into the unit. The sprayer is super easy to use and is compact to be easily put away. I highly reccomend this product

Finally I got a product, ants didn't come back. So happy. Review update: 10days after I used the product ants are coming back.

Good bug barrier, any bugs that move through the areas you sprayed will die hours after exposure. I use the indoor spay outdoors as well around windows and along the foundation. Indoors is baseboards and anyplace water can be found (kitchen, baths) as Cockroaches need the moisture. Bad part is outside bugs can still get inside, but will be dead soon after getting indoors.

This bug spray only works if you spray the bug directly otherwise I dont believe it does very much to ward off bugs or to keep them from reappearing. It is is easy to use. The scent was decent not to over powering. You can use it both indoors and outdoors. I do not have time to search for bugs or to spray them directly with a sprayer so for me it was a waste of time. I do not plan on buying this product again. If you buy it know that it effective when sprayed on a bug but does very little to keep them away.

I rarely write reviews, but this product deserves one. Ortho Home Defense Max Indoor Insect Barrier has honestly become my best friend when it comes to getting rid of bugs. I was dealing with ants in my room, and it was getting to the point where I couldn’t relax because I kept seeing them. After my first application, I started noticing dead ants instead of live ones. I recently did a second treatment, and now I only see one or two every once in a while. The difference has been huge, and it feels like they’re finally disappearing for good. The biggest thing for me is that I can actually be comfortable in my own room again without worrying about ants crawling around. It was easy to apply, and it’s been very effective. If you’re dealing with an ant problem, I definitely recommend giving this a try.

I am normally too lazy to write a review for anything. But I have to write one for this product. I live in Brooklyn, NYC and typically in the summer months I will see a few roaches here and there when the weather gets really hot (and that my neighbors next door are axxholes who doesn't up keep their home). This year I am not sure if it's the hurricane or Covid and people are not leaving too much trash behind, my home had been invaded by those giant American cockroaches. The ones that you see photos in google and just want to look away because it was that horrific. I was so scared that I can't even go to the bathroom at night because I feel like one will be lurking in the dark some where. I was literally a prisoner at my own home because I was so scared of them. I googled everything about how to get rid of roaches. And the more I found out the more that I a scared since they can carry a lot of diseases and get you really sick. Just the idea of using a plate that was crawled all over by these critters is grossing me out. I literally torn my house apart and sealed up everything little crevices I can find and clean the heck out of everything and every time I cooked I mop that kitchen down to spotlessness. That did help a little, but I can still see one of two of these roaches crawling at night. I hate using chemicals around the house unless I have to. But I felt like I have no other option at this point. So, I came across this product on google. I had gotten Ortho for outdoor defense use a few years back and I am not sure how well that worked since I normally don't have a bug problem. I decided to give this indoor version and try. I just received this two days ago. Sprayed down my house yesterday with it. Last night when I went to the bathroom, I saw that one of the roach dead on the floor. It just died! It was like the happiest moment of my life for days that I don't have to worry and have an anxiety attack chasing it down and summon all the courage I have to kill it somehow. I can just grab the dust pan the sweep it away. This product works! I don't think it is something that is like Raid and kills on contact (since that died roach was not near anywhere I sprayed), but it some how does kill it. It doesn't flume or have any strong smell to it. If you have a bug problem like I do, then just get it, because you won't regret it. See less
