Smell the Fresh Air!
Very nice kit! This had more than I expected, it came with the exterior filter retainers as well, and a spare set of N95's. I trust 3M quality to my lungs, and would not compromise on health. No more paint smell, these fit the mask perfectly, and protection level is as high as you can get. The price is decent compared to buying new disposable masks every time.

Does exactly what it advertises when you properly seal your mask.

Great Quality, But shouldn't be labeled a kit
Quality is good, but the new particular filters didn't come with the much needed wire, or other methods to attach them as an additional filter

Good stuff for spray painting
3M is confidence. Works great when painting with solvents.

For painting, staining... once in a while, change your cartridges
Good for painting, staining... stuff with high VOC (and high smell) that basically destroys your brain when you breathe it. So get a good 3M facemask, pop new cartridges, and paint away knowing you are not breathing carcinogen stuff that will pass the blood-brain barrier. Also without the smell, you can enjoy painting/staining etc a lot more.

Not recommended for DIY applications." Are you sure your information is correct? The reason why i bought this product is that i saw "1 pair of retainers" in the description, but the product description doesn't even match the real product.
