Planetary Herbals Full Spectrum Vitex Extract 120 Tablet

Been using it for 20+ years and the "full spectrum" is what makes it *awesome*. Tried tinctures, but they didn't measure up... Helpful in curbing painful menstrual cycles...then *really* helpful in perimenopause...and now *really* helpful in harnessing the insane menopausal hot flashes...ugh!I tried eliminating it from my regimen after menopause, but found that I still benefit from it. When it became "unavailable" and then "hard to find" I started cutting my doses down to one tablet every other day, and have found that doable, as long as I take another Vitex supplement (Nature's Way Vitex Fruit 400mg) at a different time of day to help balance things out...*I HIGHLY RECOMMEND...but I guess that adds to it's slim availability! Haha!

I started taking these because I was having REALLY bad period cramps, nausea, and breast tenderness since stopping my birth control. It’s been over a year and a half but my periods were still super bad. I started taking 1-2 of these tablets daily halfway through one period and by my next period I had absolutely no breast tenderness and my symptoms were definitely better than the previous cycle.I took these for maybe 3 months and now I’ve been off them for about 1-2 months. I still haven’t had any breast tenderness return (it was SO bad before) and my cramps are barely anything compared to what they were.The only thing is I missed my period right after I stopped taking these. I can’t say for sure if was due to the Vitex, but just something to note, (since it wasn’t pregnancy or any other change I can think on.)I would recommend these 100% because the worst that could happen is they don't work. I hope they work for you though!

the vitex pills are broken in half .

This seemed to help with my PMDD , however, I feel like after stopping taking it, I got bad anxiety. Also, it really made my b00bs hurt, and that rarely happens to me.
