Highly Recommended!
I highly recommend this ginger! I was very impressed with it compared to what I have bought on Amazon previously (Candy Max and Chinrose) although those purchases were several years ago so not necessarily comparable to what is available now. It was very fresh and soft, not overly sugar coated. It looked just like it is shown in the pictures. The pieces were uniformly cut and a nice size for using in cookies and sprinkling on things like cereal and fruit. And of course, one of the most important criteria: it was very tasty – a bit spicy but not too much so. I don’t like ginger that it so spicy that I can’t enjoy it. And It came in a nice heavy-duty bag with a zip-lock seal as shown.

Unusually perfect texture!
Slightly moist, uniform cubes, ideal for our favorite ginger cookie recipe. Better texture than candied ginger I’ve purchased on Amazon previously.

crystallized ginger
I love this product - use it almost daily as the sweetener on my dry cereal or, now in cold weather, on my oatmeal and blueberries. It's good also in baking and even on some salads. I wanted to find a way to incorporate ginger in my daily diet for it's anti-inflammatory properties for my severe arthritis. It's a lot healthier than taking pills and risking damaging my kidneys which NSAIDS can do.

Not much flavor for crystallized ginger
Bought this for baking since it is already chip size. It’s such a hassle to cut up the chunks. But there was almost no flavor- none of that sweet heat you expect from crystallized ginger. The flavor is pleasant but just very mild- even when you bite down on a piece.F that doesn’t matter then it is very nice- pours easily fit measure and a time saver.
