Worked great but a litte cumbersome, but served it's purpose.

It's a decent fan, but the sponge makes no noticeable difference and also blows sponge-smelling air when it's installed. It's a little bulky and ugly, but I did find it useful and I don't regret the purchase. I also believe that in desert climates it may be more effective as an evaporative cooler. On even "dry" days in other climates may not be dry enough for the evaporative cooling to really do its job.

The only thing I don't like is it's on high and I can't adjust the air flow. I had bought a name brand mini air conditioner last summer but I dropped it and it broke but other than the air flow, this one works exactly the same. Definitely worth the $17.00

Very disappointed with this item as it was badly made. There are four batteries needed but only a connector for two so would never work. I didn't realise this until I went to use it and then it wasn't worth trying to return it. Managed to get it going using tinfoil on connectors and it could be good if you get one that isn't broken - so check before putting it in a cupboard if you don't need it straight away

My mini cooler worked great for a little while then just stopped. I only had it just over 90 days when it quit working so I am unable to return it. I am very upset because I loved having the little cooler on my desk blowing air every day.

Excellent. I love this fan. I highly recommended it.

it works like a fan but is no better than a cheap dollar fan so the whole evaporative cooling technology is bull unless you have the fan no further than an inch away from your face
