I was very dissapointwd because I use high quality wire and hated that these jump rings tarnish so fast **Q: Are these strong and sturdy?** A: They are decent. I would look into split jump rings if you want something tougher. They look like key rings but smaller **Q: How many karates is the gold?** A: There are no karats to this gold. It is a metal that’s just looks gold **Q: What is the base metal?** A: I purchased these jump rings about 1 yr old. They have not tarnished. I don’t know what the base metal is, though I would guess it is steel. For the price, these are worth it. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality. *by B***S on July 5, 2026* These 10mm gold jump rings are sturdy, well-made, and have a beautiful finish.
