Perfect Replacement
Easy to install and a perfect fit for my door replacement. It sits tightly in place with no rattling or looseness. The design is simple and works exactly as expected.

Classic 5-pin tumbler permits master/slave
The big box stores stopped carrying thes classic deadbolts. We use them and rekey ourselves with a kwikset rekey kit. It enables a master key across multiple locks and a slave key. So two keys can work on same lock. Good for landlords, commercial application etc. glad Amazon had them. We ordered four. Each came with two keys, but none of thw four matched each other.

Easy to install
This was so easy to install. I was able to install it in under 10 minutes. So far, no issues! Sometimes it sticks a little bit, but it’s likely due to the humidity and heat of the summer.

Quality
If you have a round striker hole , no adapter. Call kwikset, + you may get drive in striker free. I needed thick door kit for a 3" thick door. I ordered 1 - got wrong stuff. Called kwikset, + there sending 1 free. , said it's warrenty. Save your money if you need drive in striker ( $26 ) on line , or thick door kit. ( ? $12 ) . Was free .

Super smooth....
Ignore instructions! On the bolt part that goes in to the jam. Put the A on the bottom if you're using this lock in the short setting. Other than that. Install was pretty simple. Screws are long enough you can look between the outer half to actually see if the screws are going in or not, but once it's installed the mechanism is super smooth operating.. and the key doesn't stick at all like most new locks..

Ok but cheap and no instructions
Just ok, it works but definitely cheaply made. I replaced an older qwikset lock and it was easy to see how much cheaper and less quality this lock was. Also there were NO INSTRUCTIONS.

Nice and Fast
Nice quality and fast delivery. But next time please do not use Airmee as carrier, they are problementic. Very hard to get the package. When you ship to Denmark, please use PostNord.

Not a Smart Key lock like photo!
The lock came fast and complete. This would get you 5 stars. However the photo they use to sell is a “Smart Key” where you can re-key yourself. As you can see in the photo there is no slot for the Smart Key tool. This gets you 2 Stars. BUYER BEWARE!
