The combination of a bright white LED and a strong magnifying lens on the end make this exactly the back up light I needed. The OEM bulb was way too dim. I bought a competor’s LED bulb but it only had LED’s on the side wall of the bulb tower and did not give any more light than the OEM incandescent bulb. The strong magnifying lens on the end of this bulb made it essentially a strong flashlight.
