Why havenโt I had this in my life until now?!
If you like sparkles, then you NEED this! Itโs so worth the money. Itโs a very light powder that is not all the same size. Itโs more like an organic glitter dust than anything I have ever found. Itโs perfect for resin but I think itโs one of those things you could use for just about anything because itโs not going to change the texture or consistency of whatever you put it in. It floats around the room when I use it so itโs that kind of fluffy glitter, not like little pieces of shiny plastic. If you add it to a color, it just makes that color sparkle so you donโt have to worry about it changing the color at all. I put a picture of an orb I made and this glitter was the little swoosh. I wanted to show that it stays where you put it in resin so you donโt have to worry about it settling to the bottom while it cures. Itโs been mentioned but itโs still important to say, a little does a lot. Itโs not going to matter if you over do it because itโs so light that itโs only going to be more glitter, and I tried to demonstrate that in my video by the way you see how the marble turned out compared to the square. The marble was my little test and I didnโt think I used very much but I tried making little gems and I used even less than before and I really saw a difference. I just put a stick in the tub like the instructions say on the package for the marble but I put some in the little jar and used that because it was easier to keep the dust from floating around my room and it helped. You get a tub about the size of a face cream so unless you spill it or you use way more than you need, it will last a good while but I just make little things for jewelry so if you make things like tables then you might go through it faster. I think Iโm going to be needing a new tub sooner than I should because I have been going crazy with the stuff and my poor boyfriend thinks itโs narnia or something because there is glitter in everything I make and it gets all over me so by the time Iโm done, I look like a vampire from twilight. I really donโt care but if you do, I suggest making sure you donโt have any fans on or windows open that would cause a breeze AT ALL. Itโs exactly what I didnโt know I needed to be honest. I have been trying to find something to put in my stuff like this but glitter is expensive and it sinks during the cure so itโs not where I want it. I am going to get myself some more because Iโm thinking this would make some amazing prank cards and a bunch of other things I can do to make my mom go crazy faster. Lol, I am really 30, so it never stops.

24K GOLD- โ โจ
I bought the crystal powder like over 6 years ago and I used it a bit back then but overall not that much.. although itโs very pretty and is amazing for a plethora of crafts and art pieces, I just do different projects with more color now. The gold however, I use a lot more of and LOVE. Especially when comparing to basic gold micas, this 24k gold pigment is 10x better especially for my uses, like in paints, custom ink mixes, and some resin pieces where I use it in different places to highlight areas and such. Itโs a good amount for the price and the quality is top notch as Iโve tried 3 other metallic gold powders by now and this has been my favorite. A side note- If you donโt know what kind of gold powder or whether to get a regular mica or a gold mica metallic pigment like this Unicone brand, try researching to know if youโre wanting a gold โmetallic pigment/powderโ and not just a gold mica powder, because they are different and sometimes the names can throw you off. In a few cases & projects, they could probably achieve somewhat similar results but itโs likely to still notice a difference between their finishes. I would suggest buying an affordable gold mica powder or a set of them and then buying this gold metallic to see which kind works best for your uses. Whoops that was long.

Excellent
This is liquid gold. Once you add your preferred liquid. Such as gum arabic solution for watercolor or resin. Excellent

Wow, very shimmery
This is great, very shimmery & little goes a long way. This product will last a long time, it makes up for the expensive price.

Great product for resin
Love this crushed crystal! My only recommendation is to use a little. A little goes along way. I use it in resin, and it doesnโt sink to the bottom. Itโs light, and gives a very beautiful sparkly appearance. This container will last a long time, and Iโm very pleased.

Easy sparkle
Such a pretty shiny brilliance to add into resin. A beautiful little piece of sparkle to add to your artwork.

Not for resin pouring. Looks GREAT otherwise
I used this both in a resin pour and as a coating for a resin statue. and I have different opinions on the item. For the resin pour, the mica was dulled and antiqued. not at all what I expected from a "24K Gold" powder. I was highly disappointed. The resin was a clear, fast cure 2 part epoxy and other mica powders come out brilliantly. this was not the case with this powder. It *might* work better being "painted" onto the surface of the mold and then having a resin poured in. I've not tried that yet. The second thing I did was 3D print a statue, spray it with a matte clear coat, and then toss it in a bag with this powder and shake. (using the clear coat as a type of "glue" to make the mica powder stick. Once I brushed off the excess, it looked STUNNING. Even after another protective layer of clear coat, the gold is beautiful. tl;dr: I would not recommend this mica powder for putting IN resin. either try putting it on the molds and then pouring the resin in, or use it as something to go over your model (if 3D printing)

So sparkly
I'd heard from some of the reviews here that this settles to the bottom. I found the larger bits settled, but the smaller bits remained suspended in resin. It is a little heavy, so if you're using it for resin, make sure you wait for the resin to go to just before the honey-stage before pouring. Also, hold your breath when using it, wear a respirator, and don't use it in a place with a draught, as it will go everywhere. I peeled the seal back just enough to poke a stick in, and still had errant bits of glitter float through the room!

Absolutely fabulous!
I have been trying for months to get this stuff as its virtually impossible to find in the UK. It arrived surprisingly quickly (from the US). I couldn't wait to open it up to see what it was like, and now I look like a pixie was here for a visit and sprinkled me with pixie dust. It is way better than I thought it would be and this jar is enough to last me a lifetime. Only a small amount is needed as a little goes a very, very long way. It is fab for use in resin because its so light it doesn't sink and mixes really well. I am absolutely chuffed to bits with this purchase and would recommend this seller and product 100%.

Absolutely gorgeous stuff
Yes this is pricey but you don't use hardly any and the result in my resin projects is absolutely stunning. Will last for a very long time.

Love it
Love it. You really only use a tiny (& I mean a tiny amount) as it mixes in to resin and spreads. I now use it on EVERYTHING ! Pricey but as it comes from the USA so nothing they can do about it
