The Zipadee-Zip is a must-have in every nursery and made from various material blends to keep your baby comfortable. Our Zipadee-Zip sleep swaddle blanket provides a way for your baby to stay warm and cozy similar to a baby burrito blanket. Our Zipadee-Zip acts as a swaddle transition for babies aged three months and older. Thanks to the unique starfish design, the Zipadee-Zip provides the comforting, enclosed feeling of the swaddle but without limiting your baby’s full range of motion. Your baby can push up, roll over, and wiggle safely … and still soothe himself back to sleep! Additionally, the Zipadee-Zip sleep pod helps your baby sleep safer - no loose blankets in the crib! Available in five sizes, the Zipadee-Zip is suitable for babies aged three months to three years. Our Zipadee-Zip is intended for sleeping only and should not be worn for running or walking. Don't hesitate to reach out to our customer support team if you have any questions! The Science Behind The Zipadee Zip The star-shaped pointed sleeves and star-fish design is patent pending because it inspires sounder sleep than any other wearable blankets on the market. The slight resistance in the wing-span allows a baby to move around freely while still providing the enclosed, cozy sensation babies enjoy so much in the swaddle and the womb. The "Moro" (or startle) reflex jolts a baby awake with a falling sensation. Babies are startled because they wake up and can’t feel their edges like they could in the womb. The Zipadee-Zip provides those "edges" or womb-like environment while providing them freedom to roll and use their arms and hands safely. This is why the Zipadee-Zip will work when all other products parents have tried to transition their babies typically fail. The Zipadee-Zip was designed to aid the swaddle transition but has so many other fabulous uses as well!

Sack covers baby’s face
Really adorable pattern, super soft fleece and nice stretch. However, due to the shape of the sack in the arms, my 7 month old son (in his correct size) kept covering his nose and mouth with the fabric. I kept going in the nursery to see if it was on correctly, or if I could fix but it kept happening. I couldn’t sleep knowing that the shape of this sack kept causing the covering his whole face while (the major reason safe sleep doesn’t include blankets in the crib), so I switched him to a regular sleep sack with his arms freed. The neck part also seemed loose- that kept sliding up over his chin as well. All these factors didn’t make me feel safe using this item. Felt like it could be a suffocation risk or as bad as using a loose blanket (probably even worse considering how the shape affected his position of the fabric tightly covering his face.

Disappointed...
I was so looking forward to using this for my LO; she is approximately 14lbs and 26inches long at 6 months. Unfortunately, the small size fits her very awkwardly; the arms don’t seem to be long enough and she isn’t able to stretch her arms out fully or upward; she can’t even ruby her forehead...which is how she self soothes. I decided to order the next size up (medium), because I really like the idea of this sleep sack...and it is huge compared to the small! She’s not even close to fitting into it, but I can’t use the size small on her because of the arms... how awkward and disappointing.

Threadbear after two washes. Great idea with cheap material.
I have this in the tshirt material and it is about the same thickness as this supposed winter "fleece" nonsense. My 8 year old's fleece jams are thicker than this thing is and I can see through the material at the seams in some places already. Its almost halloween costume weight fleece. Won't be buying again. Almost 40 dollars should buy you a higher quality fleece than my daughter's 12 dollar walmart jams.Add a two way zipper, silly to not have it, hassle to change a diaper. My kid sleeps well in it, I'd love it if they were more conscientiously made. I'd be better off making it myself.

Actually works!
Our baby slept for 3 months in a halo swaddle and slept great! Then she learned to roll and I panicked because I thought sleeping through the night would end because I couldn’t use a swaddle any longer and she still had the startle reflex. So, I bought a Merlin magic suit and a zipadeezip. My husband hates the look of the Merlin so the first night we used our fleece zipadeezip. Another night of great sleep! The fleece is thin but warm enough that I can crank the ac at night and she still stays comfy. I didn’t think a loose sack would work at all, but it seems to be just enough to calm the startle reflex and keep her safe and warm. I wish there were more fleece options! They will work great for summer and winter in our house because we like to sleep with it cold. The quality was what I expected, and I will buy again.

We like it
This product is good for transitioning from the Halo sleep sack where we kept her arms down. She likes the flexibility to move her arms but still feels supported. I just don’t like the price. I wish I had time to make this simple pattern and add the zipper. Especially since Halo is more complicated and has thicker fleece and is less money. But of course we paid for it and are paying for the next size up too.We used this for naps for a few weeks to get her used to it, then started using it at nighttime. Nice!

Miracle for us!!!!
This little miracle of a sleep sack helped us transition from a full swaddle to arms free sleeping. I literally tried EVERY TRANSITION SWADDLE I could find but this one was the one that worked. I cannot understand why this small piece of cloth is $40?! Taking off one star for price.

Different than the lightweight zipadee
I have used the lightweight zipadee zip and loved how easily my baby can move in it. The material of the fleece just doesn’t make it very easy for my baby to move his arms and roll about— a problem since this is a concern when putting him into a “sac”. Even the sizing seemed smaller. I’m sure it’s just the fleece material itself and will just use the other lightweight material since I LOVE that one.

Overpriced but my grand babies do sleep well in them!!
I myself don’t sew but they seem super simple to make yourself. The price in my opinion is ridiculous but I bought them at my daughters request for Christmas. If you can sew I would say make them yourself for a fraction of the cost. That said…The concept is genius and the babies do sleep well in them.
