Perfect For A Diesel RV When You Want To Remove Your Muffler
My 2004 RV with and ISC-350 does not have a catalytic converter and it does not take DEF. I wanted to remove the muffler and install a 4" straight pipe in its place. To do this I need this 4" to 5" transition piece. And now my engine sounds better at idle and is only a little louder then I accelerate hard.I did this to reduce engine back pressure. And FYI the turbo acts as a muffler and my manifold pressure increased 1PSI.
