This answered many questions and also confirmed my thoughts on the issues of melanated people in the US

It definitely put together some pieces to puzzle on my end from previous research I been doing. The words don't flow as much I would've like. But the information is there

It was not what I was expecting. Seemed more like an essay, that gave brief highlights of history. Very little depth in as the title captures your attention.

Love the knowledge in this book!

I was very disappointed in this book. I felt it had a lot of opinions instead of facts and the book looks as though it was written by a student for a school project. There are pictures of actors and memes in it listed with captions and seldom useful information! The information had some key points but I was looking to use this in my homeschooling for my daughter and I have to sift through it to find the facts and omit the opinions. I felt it was a waste of money and was not worth the effort. I will however keep the book, for SOME of the facts but definitely not informative enough past pure interest of someone else's opinions. Not worthy for education in a school setting nor to a child's school curriculum. This is my personal opinion of the book. I also want to add that it was printed 2 days after I purchased it. The copyright has mmddyy in the back of the book.
