InkOwlToner Refill Kit Replacement for Brother TN-630, TN-660 (2-Pack)

This ink set saved me a bunch of money on my Brother 2340 Laser Printer. I ordered this set, the flag gear, and the new ink plug for the cartridge. I followed the directions just like on the paper and had no problems.This week though the ink started smearing on shipping labels I was printing. I immediately thought it was this product. I cleaned the drum and did all the trouble shooting to fix my printer. It turns out, it was the paper I was using. I was using shipping labels made for an inkjet printer instead of a laser printer. As soon as I changed that all is good now. This product saved me about $30 from having to buy a new laser cartridge, plus it changed my beginner cartridge into a high volume cartridge just by adding the flag gear.I will be buying these from now on.

Taking the cartridge apart and putting it back together was no issue, as I had taken pictures of everything I did so I could put it back together again.But, OMG, when I had to dump out the existing toner powder, WHAT A MESS. Thank goodness I had the foresight to do this outside. Unfortunately, thought the printer kept telling me it was low on toner, there was ALOT left in the chamber. So when I thumped it out, even though it was inside a trash can, it still starting flying everywhere as it is very fine powder. AND the thumping caused the fine powder to stick all around the outside of the cartridge.Since, I put the toner powder in, I figured I may as well go ahead and use it. When I was wiping the powder off outside of the cartridge, to my great dismay, a bunch of powder poured out of the side of the cartridge !!! I have no idea why it did that. But as I was cleaning it in my kitchen sink, thank goodness it didn't go anywhere except into the sink.To say the least, I have no confidence that it will not cause loose powder to be released into the inside of my printer.Bottom line: forget this mess! I'm on my way to Staples to buy a regular off the shelf Brother toner cartridge.

Straight forward and relatively easy to use. The complaints that most others have made are unrelated to the Inkowl product, and more related to the difficult/mess of refilling ink toner cartridges. The plug on the genuine Brother cartridges are very difficult to remove, but you just need to take your time and be persistent. Use gloves. You do need to dump out all of the old toner from the cartridge, or your print quality will suffer. The printing result from refilling with Inkowl was WAY better than cheap, refilled cartridges, as well as some of the other toner refills that I've tried. After refilling a TN-630, it indicated approximately 95% full, and the print quality was excellent and the ink was nice and dark. Cost was a fraction of a new OEM toner cartridge, and the entire process took about 10 minutes.

Very easy to refill. The instructions were fair but the system works very well.Thus far I have successfully recharged two cartridges. If you're very careful it is not too messy.Recharging an aftermarket product (Tone Kingdom - I highly recommend) is a bit different but actually easier. The fill cap is on the opposite end and is large and easy to remove and replace.This is a great product and will purchase more.

The instructions are given and it is easy to refill the cartridge, but they should include the cap for the cartridge once we refill a bottle. They sell the cap separately though.

Worked perfect for a low cost solution to replace the expensive Brother cartridges. Quality of print is excellent.

I refilled a genuine TN660 cartridge without issue. The problem is that the pages now print with a double image, with one dark-ish and one about 3" below that one which is very light. Also the print quality is lighter than when the genuine cartridge was used before. Thinking it may be a drum issue, I installed a generic cartridge and the pages look excellent. Live and learn, don't use Ink-Owl to refill your cartridges.

I did not think it would work so I took a chance and went ahead and ordered them. But the toner cartridges work great. Very pleased thank you
