Can the container be reused with new soil and seeds at another time?

Yes! Just empty and clean it out and store for later use. They provide plenty of seeds, you might have to get extra soil though.

we need to buy 30 items, what can i do?

Why would they include beans and peas, neither have enough root room and won't reproduce in that?

So students can compare and contrast the two different types of plants. We moved the plants to bigger pots when they grew big enough but this container is clear allowing for students to see each step from seed to plant.

Has anyone tried adding worms?

This item is not intended for worms. Worms prefer darkness and this item is designed to let in light so children can see root growth.
