Great Chaps for a low price!
Well these fit well and are decently priced. I had to cut 4" off the bottom and add a couple more holes in the belt to get them tight. I wear a 34-36 in men's pants and got the 38 bc I wanted to be able to get them over jeans easily and these fit perfect! Only complaint is that they need a couple more holes in the belt to get it tighter but I just put another hole and grommet in and they are perfect. Definitely recommend for the price and ease. Im 5'9" 225lbs with a 30" in seam.

Nice quality and fit.
Needed new chaps and I thought I would try these. Never had H. W. K. Brand before, but for that kind of price I'll take a chance. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised. They fit great, They have a heavy zipper on the either side of the leg and there's ample belt room. I normally wear size 38 jeans. And I ordered these in size 40. I might be Husky, but not overly obese and the fit is fine. When I'm sitting down on the bike or in a chair, they're loose enough around my thighs and calves that they don't bind and stress the zippers. Wore them for the first time early this morning and I'm more than happy.

UPDATE: Customer Service Came Through!
UPDATE to original review: It took awhile, but costumer service came through and sent me another set of chaps! This pair has a fully functional pocket, unlike the original pair, and I am now pleased with my chaps. Below is the original review: Pros: Not bad for the price Fit well if you order a size larger than you wear in pants Cons: Not the best leather The male snap on my leg pocket was attached to both sides, rendering the pocket useless I've never had chaps before, and have always wanted some for cold weather, so for the price I thought I would try these. I ordered a size larger, due to what reviewers said, and mine fit fine. Quality isn't top notch, but OK for the price I paid, and was what I expected. If the pocket wasn't messed up, I would keep them (the leg pocket is handy for registration and insurance, since I would only carry those when riding the Harley), but I will be returning them. The tag on the chaps said "Before initiating a return, email us," so I did, but got no response.

A little smaller by size
Appear to be great quality. Supple leather. I feel like the sizing runs a little small, legs tight and zipper is a little bit around to the back to my liking. But overall I still give it 5 stars.

Paid $18 for them. Got $18 chaps.
These aren't awful, but they are the worst quality leather above patchwork. Good stuff is not touted as "genuine leather". Ordered a size 48, usually wear a 44. It's still pretty snug around the thighs, but I had to make my own belt hole (and the leather wouldn't hold a grommet). You're missing quite a lot of material around the crotch and rear, more so than with a more durable/expensive pair. Had to cut the bottom of the legs to fit my inseam. That's pretty standard for lower end chaps, no complaints there. HOWEVER, I can already tell these things are gonna flap like Dumbo's ears at speed, they are very loose as soon as they go past the knee, and I sometimes struggle to find socks that aren't too tight, I've got big calves. There is not much of a taper to them, I'll probably need to use the parts I cut off to make ankle garters or maybe cut a split and add laces/snaps up the inseam. The mesh inside is a joke for these chaps, it's the same stuff they use in their armored overpants, basically male swimming trunks liner material. Can't complain for the price. I knew what I was getting into. These will be a lot more comfortable after a little tailoring, you're basically getting a generic blank.

Fit is excellent, quality great, price unbeatable.
I like this company (HWK). I have an HWK textile armoured jacket and matching armoured pants. They are both great values for the money. They fit properly, stand up to regular use and provide a reasonable amount of protection. The jacket looks sharp too - I get a lot of compliments. So I'm not surprised the chaps are an equally great buy. The pants are zippered but I just pull them on over my jeans. The photos show the chap belt sitting outside a regular belt but I pulled mine up over my pants and cinched it up four notches - meaning the sizing is very good. I'm 5'8" 160 lbs and the size 32 is perfect. The chaps are long but that works as I wear an inseam of 34 inches (actual size: 32) for riding motorbikes. Floodpants are not great for warmth or protection so the length is good. I really came away very satisfied with all three HWK purchases. You can't beat the price or quality. Ride safe!

Fits about right. Good value, inexpensive addition to riding gear.
I'm 6ft, 225lbs with a 30" inseam in jeans/slacks or a 31" inseam when wearing riding boots (both based on 1" from floor). I ordered the 38" variety of these since my jeans fitment is somewhere between 36"-38" depending on the cut and manufacturer. Reading the reviews on these, I figured it they're a bit big, that's better than a bit snug. I found it easier to unzip the upper leg portions and rezip them than trying to put these on like regular pants. The jeans would bunch up and as others have noted, the thighs aren't roomy. BUT, that's because chaps aren't supposed to be loose fitting (at least not like relaxed fit jeans). Once on, zipped, and buttoned up, they felt fine. I was able to pull the belt line on the chaps about an inch or two above my jeans' belt line, and that made the chaps snug to the crease of my crotch -I don't wear my chaps that way, but wanted to see if I could pull them all the way up. I adjusted the fitment so that the chaps belt sat right above my jeans belt and the fitment on the thighs and around the groin adjusted so I wouldn't be pinched. I wore these over jeans and rode 375 miles over 7 hours the first time I wore them (all same day, same ride). This was mostly highway riding. They were the perfect length to set right on top of my boots when seated on my motorcycle. There was slight bunching of the leather behind the knee, but this happens with most thick riding pants/chaps. I was able to un-bunch the chaps buy just a simple pulling of the leather. The 2nd wearing of the chaps, I rode 450 miles over 9 hours (all same day, same ride). About 120 miles were on the Blue Ridge Parkway and surrounding mountains, which meant I was a bit more active in my seat during the curves, than straight highway riding. I wore them over my Iron Workers Riding Chinos w/ the armor knees pads (see photo). The chinos are a bit longer than my jeans but fit perfectly beneath the chaps. The nice things about wearing these two together are: 1) The chaps held the knee armor in place and 2) Didn't allow the wind to blow my pants 1/2 way up my shins. At no point during my 2nd wearing of these did I feel as though they were causing me discomfort or affecting my ability to ride/maneuver my bike. I was concerned that I'd have issues w/ them being new, stiff, and not broken in yet, but frankly, I was fine and did NOT having to walk like Frankenstein's monster in them. After a couple of uses, I've decided to keep them and use them regularly. I had intended to re-sell them after this trip and then buy something else. At this price point and comfort, they're worth hanging on to.

Schlechte Qualität
Die Qualität ist nicht sehr gut , es ist beim ersten Tragen schon eine Schlaufe für den Gürtel abgerissen .

Great fit.
They are the perfect fit. Make sure to order the next size up to allow for fitting over the pants you wear. They are soft so very flexible to move with your legs. I recommend the item.

Térmicas y resistentes.
Con 3 años de uso en todo terreno que mi motocicleta me permite aventurarme, puedo darte un veredicto. - Resistentes a cualquier clima.

Really good value for your money
We were surprised that such an item had such a low price tag! We would have paid much more for it in a regular store. And the quality is pretty good. However, I have to warn whoever wants to buy this product: The leather smell is terrible, very strong and distinctively chemical. We had to put these chaps outside in the air in order not to have this smell in every room in our house. We hope this smell to disappear with time, because it is otherwise a good item. If the leather smell doesn't go away, we will have to hang this in our garage and wash our clothes as soon as we are done with our motorcycle ride.
