Easy to use and set up. Works great for the purpose. Wish it was less expensive. For the price I would expect it to be a little more study but over all better option than many others out there.

Love the adjustability

I purchased this to use as a camera boom adjustment on my kayak and there is just the ever so slightest bit of play in the mount. This shake makes a dull booming noise on my GoPro camera and is just crazy annoying in the audio. I noticed this on the RailBlaza rod holder mounts that use the same StarPort design and it didn't really bother me....but for a camera mount, it's just annoying as heck. The mount tolerances need to be a bit tighter in my opinion and I've used these mounts in both hot and cold weather.

Looks well made, but the one I got was flimsy, and the lock mechanism came apart.Don’t think I’d buy another one.
