Overall, they're great as disposable files for use on individual clients. I work on my own nails at home a lot especially during lockdown so I tend to go thru a lot of nail files, and I found that buying more expensive ones didn't always mean that they will last. These don't break the bank and are good quality. They're also a great addition to your handbag so you can always correct a chip or break on the go (just please don't dust on anyone.....). It doesn't lose its roughness too quickly, so say if you're keeping one in your bag and only you are using it (should only be one person using one, anyway) then it will last for a good while, my mum has had hers in her bag for over a month now and it's still working great. I will definitely come back and buy more if and when needed.

I have fairly thin (and splitting) nails and these are far too abrasive for my nails. I found that I. Filing my nails with these I was left with jagged, split and peeling nails. They may be suitable for nail extensions, gel nails or people with strong/thick nails but they aren’t suitable for soft nails. They have the texture of sandpaper (maybe I’ll use them to sand my window sills).

I bought a pack of these but would rather search out old emery boards to use as these are so very rough and ready. Cant easily see which side is supposed to be kinder, both sides act like industrial sanders!

It is a good product and I am able to use it more than once and it still goes strong

Great shape of file but definitely not up to a professional standard as I currently buy from my nail salon but due to lockdown haven’t been able to and although they look great they definitely cannot take off gel polish
