The Beatles Fab Four Miniature Guitar and Drums Set of 4 with Amp by BT MGU

I have had my eye on this set for a year or more, waiting for the right moment to purchase before they are all gone. I will not purchase things on Ebay for inflated prices. All previous versions of this product did not include the amplifiers. I jumped at the chance to buy this one because it includes the famous Vox amplifiers. I learned to play guitar after seeing The Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show, so these instruments are deeply embedded in my memories, thoughts and emotions.I should mention that they are very accurate in many ways...maybe too accurate. The folding legs on the cymbal stands will not hold the weight and stand without modifications. I simply cut cardboard circles slightly larger than the cymbal stand bases and cemented them with scotch tape over the legs (?) but without the cymbal while drying. Same for the stool. Several small detail pieces and a couple of screws fell off while I was handling the drums. You will have to repair these or, at the very least, realign some parts. Tuning keys on the guitars were skewed but easy to fix.I don't play electric bass any more, so I would not buy a real Hofner. I have the less expensive version of the Gretsch but can't afford a real Rickenbacker. This is a way for me to enjoy the visual sensation of seeing these instruments which have powerful meaning for me. If you are a fan of The Beatles, you will like this. Just know that it does not arrive ready to display.

The detail on the guitars, amps and drums is perfect. Everything is beautiful and looks authentic. The problem is that the drums are not made to the same scale as the guitars and amps. I think other reviewers have noted this. The drum kit is too small proportionally to the guitars and amps. It's not something most people would notice, but if you look at the display for a minute the drums are too small compared to the guitars.

Very pleasantly surprised when this set arrived today. The product arrived is much more detailed than the photos in the ad. Unlike the picture, the Rickenbacker has "Rickenbacker" written on the head, just like the real thing. Also unlike the picture of Ringo's drums, there is an actual representation of a tom mount rather than that flimsy wire attachment. The amps have "speakers" installed inside, just like the real thing, and "control knobs" on top. Great detail, great product.

WOW! Amazing detail and quality. Great packaging. I bought this package and distributed them to each member of my 60s cover band. But this is so beautifully done that I will probably buy another set to display. I have already ordered another Axe Heaven replica and expect to order several more. I am even considering to have a custom built model of my Gretsch.

These mini instruments compliment my Beatles memorabilia collection perfectly. I love the detail right down to the guitar stands and Ringo's drum seat.

This miniature stage set up is a great conversation starter. For example,I now know where every one of my friends were when they saw the TV debut of 'The Beatles' on the Ed Sullivan show.It's a little bigger than I thought it would be and you definitely need to put it on a secured shelf. I have it on a tv table, for now, and if you are not careful the pieces are easily knocked over. But the set is worth the effort.

First off it says it is 1/6 scale and the pictures show you how detailed everything is. Well that is deceptive because while it says 1/6 scale the items are actually 1/4 scale. So what did I get in my box? I got a drum set that is in fact 1/6 scale but in so many parts and no instructions I may never use the thing! Speakers that were 1/4 scale not 1/6 but cool and as they look like a lot of the big amps I could use them. The guitars were 1/4 scale, not 1/6 scale. They are magnificent and highly detailed.
