Can this be used in an aquarium?

Coconut shell based activated carbons are useful in tanks primarily for removal of chlorine and harmful chemicals in the water. The micro-pores in the coconut shell variety are smaller than the hardwood coal based variety (also called bituminous). Many aquarium users prefer bituminous (hardwood) based activated carbons as the larger contaminants will also be removed by the larger pore structure of this variety.     So basically if your main concern is chlorines, chlorides and chemicals, etc, then this coconut shell based carbon is a good choice. Otherwise bituminous based carbon is recommended.

I want to make my own room/refrigerator deodorizers.  Is this the stuff I need, please?

Yes, you are correct. The carbon will remove the odor and contaminants from the air that comes in contact with it. This is why a shallow dish with a larger surface area is optimal. Stirring the carbon every few days will also help to make sure that fresh particles stay in contact with the air.

Can this be used with a charcoal filter for smoking a bong

It depends on the type of filter and the mesh (screen) size of your screen material. This carbon is 8x16 mesh, which is about the size of coarse coffee grounds. If the holes in your retaining screen are too large, the carbon will pass through. If too small, it will limit the airflow. The proper size screen material for 8x16 carbon would be cheesecloth or even standard screen door material.    Are you using a commercial filter or a custom made filter? If you are using a commercial, what is the part / model number? I can check on this for you to determine the best carbon size for your application
