Will this have an effect on hair growth...with so many vitamins, minerals, etc.; and if so, will it regrow hair?

I don't think it will re-grow hair where hair doesn't grow anymore but since taking this vitamin, my nails and hair grow so much faster than before. Almost annoyingly fast because i need haircuts more often and have to cut my nails weekly instead of once a month.

Did they recently change the formulation? My most recent shipment contained much smaller tablets and they have a bad/strong taste to them.

Most likely. The formulas and techniques in which these vitamins are made have changed throughout the years. They used to come in clear capsules back around 2009 for instance, as opposed to compressed pills. Without even getting into the different methods and different types of ingredients that comprise compressed pills and capsules (where compressed pills typically have far more things crammed inside of it aside from just vitamins/minerals/nutrients), the delivery and absorption rates between these two can be night and day, where capsules are usually always better (assuming that the ingredients inside the capsule are quality, which ON products have typically always been in my experience). Many compressed vitamins have failing digestion and absorption rates for many differing reasons. And at your local store, most of those really cheap vitamins that you see on the shelves (especially the ones that come in the form of compressed pills) are literally a waste of money; they will not break down properly and even if they do, the ingredients are so low quality that your system can't absorb the nutrients or, because of their nature and/or the way in which the pill was made, the process deemed the nutrient(s) unrecognizable/unobtainable by the body. I haven't looked deeply into ON's recent process of creating these multivitamins, but they have always been (and still are) the highest quality multivitamin that I have ever taken; granted that I stopped looking years ago after I discovered these.
