Very easy for first time users.
This is the first time I have used one of these. I have a new Pom dog. She has such a thick coat and was suffering in the Texas heat in June. I took the trimmer out of the box, attached the plastic clip guides, and began clipping my dog. Its quiet enough and doesn't scare her. Its very strong and sharp, cuts easily. The one thing about these clipper attachments is that they seem to just glide right over the fur instead of through it. I had to use both hands. One to clip and one to hold the hair up straight in order to clip it. Took a little longer but it did the trick. Its easy to hold for a long time. The size is perfect in my hand, and grooming is so easy now. Next time should be easier as the longest fur is now trimmed. She is relieved and so happy to have lost the fur coat of a couple of pounds. You should see her dancing now! So tiny and happy. I recommend it for first time users. Great instruction book included with a phone number for any problems and a 1 year warranty. Great buy.

Great product overall
I've only had the product a few days, but I am thrilled with it for a number of reasons. 1. You get so many extras in the package. They should call it a kit if they don't. In fact, I used the scissors, which were sharp enough to cut my own hair. Yes, you read that right. 2. I purchased the clippers for use on my 19-yo longhaired cat who isn't doing such a good job of grooming herself anymore and was getting mats. Her Vet said she might need to get shaved. I took her to a groomer, cwho was lovely and did a great job, but charged over $100. I understand she's running a business, but I just can't afford to keep going back every 2 months at that price, so these clippers are going to be great. 3. They are quiet enough that my cat lets me clip her without being scared. She doesn't like having her belly done, but that's what's nice about having clippers at home I can work on a little at a time as needed. Plus, she doesn't have to get in the carrier (which she doesn't like) or go to a noisy facility with dogs and strangers. 4. Let me talk about the AMAZING customer service. That word is often over used these days, but it's true in this case. When I received the clippers I was going through the instructions and tried to remove the blade, as instructed. I could not do it. I figured I got a bad machine. I emailed the company. They were so nice and apologetic. They offered to replace. No questions asked. I received the new clippers, and had the same problem, until I realized it was an ID10T error. Even though I looked at the illustration numerous times I was holding the clippers upside down. Silly! I let the company know and they took the time to respond again. All is well! Having said that, getting the blade back in and getting the guards on is a little fiddly, but not really an issue. You just have to be precise. I am thrilled with the product, the price, and this company!

What you waiting for? get them.. 😁 best clippers I've used
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I totally recommend these clippers! I absolutely love them! I’ve purchased five different brands of dog clippers in the past, and every single one failed or just didn’t get the job done. I was honestly hesitant to buy another pair, but my dogs were way overdue for a good shearing, so I decided to give these a try — and I’m so glad I did! So far, I’ve groomed two Australian Shepherds and one Shih Tzu, with three more dogs still waiting their turn. The blade is still sharp, the clippers cut so smoothly, and the battery is still at 38% after grooming all three dogs — which really impressed me. The accessories are great quality, the noise level is surprisingly quiet, and there isn’t a lot of vibration, which made the experience easier on my dogs. The clippers also fit comfortably in my hand and were easy to use. After trying so many others, I can honestly say these are the best clippers I’ve bought. I would definitely recommend them! 🐾

Love it, but missing charger.
Oh my gosh, I live these clippers. Unfortunately, I was not paying attention when I opened the box because I didn't notice it didn't have the charger included. Sigh. Although, it was missing the charger the battery life was really good. I was able to groom my Doodle and my Toy Poodle. My Oliver hates loud noises. These clippers are quiet. Ollie is a Doodle with Poodle curly hair, but with the double coat of a Golden retriever coat. This clipper cut through his hair, so easily. It cut down his grooming time by half. Mind you Oliver is a Standard size Doodle and weighs 90+ lbs. I am a disabled vet with a back injury, so that is saying alot.

Impressed!
Im a pro groomer and i honestly was not expecting great quality for the price. I was visiting a friend and did not have my tools. I ordered these thinking one time use that probably would be short charged. I was so wrong! I have no shame saying this clipper has become a go to and it holds its own to my $300 cordless that cut like butter! Very impressive tool! Definite recommend! I have suggested it to clients to have on hand between visits, too! Love them! Ty!

Quirky control button and battery/ SEE MY REVIEW UPDATE!
I got these clippers about 2 years ago. Right off the bat I noticed that the on off switch was quirky sometimes needing several tries to turn off or on. Also the readout would only come on momentarily when plugging in the charger. I decided to keep, however because those issues not withstanding, it was a good tool. The first year passed and I would use 3 or 4 times to shave my shaggy dog till she overgrew again. I would routinely charge prior to the one hour job. This year I noticed the charge would only last a half hour, requiring me to recharge to finish her. The last time I used it, it lasted about 10 minutes. It took me 7 days to get her finished. I've been watching the charge over the last few months and it doesn't stay charged, dying at about the 5 minute mark. Once I charged; switched on and this time the charge readout appeared and stay on while running. You could watch the % drop every few seconds and it got to zero just in a few minutes. I'm gonna try to contact the seller and see if they're maybe good guys and can provide a new better replacement battery. If they do I will revise this review. If not I do not recommend Holdog. It's a rechargeable battery and was not abused nor used too much. I'm also wondering if this was a return or refurb that they slipped in. **** I heard back within a few hours. They apologized and asked if they could replace. I agreed. They did say it might take a little bit, but I an impressed with their customer service. I will update when I receive the replacement. This make me very happy as this, minus the few problems is the best clippers I've ever owned and it's quiet and doesn't scare my dog. Kudo to Holdog Sevice Team. Top stars for immediate response. UPDATE. True to their word. I received a brand new one and it works perfectly. This is the kind of company I highly recommend. They were responsive and fulfill their promise. They get a 5 star PLUS review. These are the BEST clippers I've ever owned. I give their customer service 5 stars + as well. I am totally amazed at how quick and painlessly they responded. I can't give anymore kudos all around because this is a great company, product and seller staff. My best wishes to all evolved. This would make a great Xmas present for any dog owner and would be excellent for a person who has a beard . ********** Phil C.

Surprising power and battery life for a small cordless clipper.
We had years of experience with corded Wahl and Andis clippers to trim a series of 5 golden retrievers. It was always a challenge to find the right combination of expensive clipper blades and combs. We tried the Hold Dog on a "what have I got to lose for the price" whim, and couldn't be more surprised or pleased. We've had one for several years and now a second for a seasonal home. We don't shave our Goldens but do trim thick hair and mats . The clipper cuts through them easily and the battery lasts for multiple trims before recharging. At this price point it's no surprise the clipper head doesn't last forever but replacements are readily available and inexpensive. The clipper comes with a good size range of combs.

Great!
It's not loud like some others are and it's comfortable to hold! My dogs are scared of most clippers but they seem fine with these. For the price there's also a lot included. Definitely recommend!
