All of the reviews are pretty accurate. I got number 4 hair-ive been using that color my whole life and it was accurate-The hair came and seven packs. It is pre-looped. The hair is nice, shiny and the braids are very neat. I would say it’s a medium sized box braid. The pre looping made it very easy to use. The hair definitely smelled.-Package comes with a crochet needle (I used it and the needle is okay but if it’s your first time I would buy nicer one because the clasp is a little lose) as well as some colorful hair jewelry.-The hair definitely smelled bad. Really bad. There’s no way I could have used it out the bag. I soaked all the hair in a big bowl of warm water and Apple cider vinegar for 30 minutes, rinsed, then filled up the bowl again and added a quarter size of shampoo to wash, and did the same with a quarter size dollop of conditioner). I towel dried the hair after and then hung it to dry over night. By the morning it was perfect. Smells like my shampoo and the braids stayed nice and shiny.-I installed myself and used all 7 packs. It doesn’t feel heavy at all which is awesome!

I like how lightweight it is and they are very easy to install. The only thing I would say to be careful about is the type of hair texture you have. These braid extensions are very soft and smooth so if you have fine, natural hair that is thin and soft as well, it can very well easily slip off your hair when you try to install them. I braided my hair in sections and had to put rubber bands to keep the extensions in, because if i only braided my hair and installed these extensions, it would have just slipped off the same day or in a couple days. Other than that its a pretty good product to wear for a few weeks as a protective style or a fashion style! :)

Crochet Braids.

I liked that the braids were really soft, it seem like they were hand braided with braiding hair, doesn’t seem like they were factory made. Really light weight, and bouncy. Out of the 7 packs I received only one had a bad smell, it kinda smelled like dog. I just sprayed it with leave in conditioner and let it air dry, no problem. The ends are a little messy, BUT once again really soft. If you want a neater look you can just dip and or trim them. Overall, I’d buy again. 20 in each pack, that’s 140 strands it was enough for my entire head. I did the cornroll method

So after reading several reviews and asking questions I decided to purchase the 7 packs of 18' in the color 1b. I love the braids they are lightweight, the perfect length for me. I wanted to be able to put the braids in an updo and I achieved that with the 18'. The only issues I have is one with the loop holes are small and takes a little longer to get the crochet hook through. The second issue is the hair ends are prickly and itchy when the braids are down on my back, but an updo fixes that. They did not come with a crochet needle luckily I had several of my own. I don't have patience to sit for 5+ hours so this was great in that it only took about 2 hrs from start to finish. I used about 5 packs as I don't like heavy or a lot of hair. This was a great purchase for me.

I love these braids, easy to install. I should have ordered 16 or 18, 14 is to short. I gave a 4 because of the way the ends are folded in the pack they stayed folded when installed for a few days, fine now
