Peace of mind to carry when traveling..
I was very impressed with the quality, functionality, and the usefulness of purchasing this to carry in my truck. I had recently had a flat tire when camping in a remote area, and used a manual bike pump to air up my tire, just to be able to drive to a flat hard surface, and change the tire. It was at that time I started thinking about buying a 12v portable air compressor. I did some shopping around, and I like this double cylinder design very well. I checked some of the retail stores also, and believe the Asani model I purchased was a much better choice. I did a test and lowered my size 16 truck tire to 10 lbs. I then timed how long it took to get back to 35lbs, and it was 3 minutes and 40 seconds. I think this was very fast, as I didn't have to hold it, as the hose screws on the valve stem. I love this feature. I also found I don't necessarily need the yellow coiled extension hose, however it is nice just in case it is needed. The portable compressor also works great on a farm for front tractor tires, atv tires, etc. Overall it is a very useful tool, and the bag it comes with is very nice too. I plan to store it in the rear of my truck cab at all times...

This little compressor packs some punch!

Good cheap product
Worked well. Got my tires over 42 pounds. Could use updated quick release on nozzle end instead off-screw. So far so good.

Worth every penny BUY IT
Two things you need to know upfront- this thing draws alot of current. Do NOT attempt to run it off your vehicles built in PowerPoint or off the battery with the engine off. You must use the included clamp adapter to draw power from a more robust 12v source. Most modern vehicles hide the battery god knows where but as long as you can find the stud for jumpstarting the vehicle you can clip the adapter on there. Leave your engine idling and this thing will work great. I have used mine mostly in my RV and I have the adapter clamped onto the +/- distribution block where the batteries, solar panels, etc are all terminated together. Most people will probably run this off a passenger vehicle, it's important to idle the engine while this compressor is running because it will kill your car's battery within a few minutes if you try to run it with the engine off.I've gone through two different cheapO inflators in the last couple years. I've found that my folly is that I run them for too long and they heat up. One wore the wrist pin down and the piston started hitting the head. The other simply blew one of the reed valves off. Now that I learned my lesson and know the limits of what can be expected from a small cheap compressor like this, I know to set a timer in my phone, and also try to keep the unit out of the sunlight while using it. This is very important. If it's uncomfortably hot to the touch, TURN IT OFF and wait for it to cool down. This thing will inflate a standard car tire to 40psi within a couple minutes depending on how much air is in it to begin with. It got one of my E rated RV tires from 17psi to 50psi in about 8 minutes. Unfortunately by that time it had gotten hot, I had to shut it off and let it cool. Ran it another 5 min or so and it got the tire up to 60.I have a seven gallon air tank, and it can fill it to about 85-90 psi before it gets hot.I believe this compressor can eventually meet its 120psi rating but realistically those last 30-40 psi will take a LONG time, and you'll have to watch the heat along the way if you really need that much pressure. This one doesn't seem to get too hot in the upper manifold area but the center section where the electric motor is does heat up. Also the hose fittings seem to get hot.

Great solid fast compressor/pump, one very minor issue.
Great fast air compressor/tire pump. Very solidly made and efficient. One star off because the pressure gauge is not super accurate, but it is consistent. The one I got inflated my small SUV tires about 4 PSI more than what the gauge said every time - according to my other standard tire gauge. It is also pretty quiet for how fast it works.
