These are great work shoes. I would recommend if you are in a warehouse environment to go for the dark here. I had a coworker who wanted to be funny and decided to step on my boots, but the purpose of the boots are to work. The only thing, I didn’t like was the fact of breaking them in and they being so close to the Achilles tendon in case of this took your pants into your shoe until it builds up a tolerance and then you can wear them regularly. These are the first pair I have not had to put it insert in and they feel very light. I’m able to stand as I work on concrete inside of a shipping warehouse. Definitely worth the price.

They're very comfortable, great quality and offer the support I need for everyday use at my job. It's hard for me to find the size and quality boot for the price. The last pair I had I am still wearing after 4 years with constant use. They are still in good shape, but I wanted to order another pair in the event that they are discontinued.

Ordered these after trying a few other comparably priced and made boots, none of which felt right on my feet. I have been wearing similar 8" tall Altama boots for 7-8 years that I really liked and have held up well, but the backs of my ankles/calves always have been sore the day after wearing them. I came to realize that as a stumpy short guy, I should try a 6" high boot to change where the top of the boot contacts the back of my leg to try to eliminate the issue. It's a lot harder to find a 6" boot with the side zippers, which I now view as essential for ease of putting on and removing my boots and keeping the lacing at a consistent tightness. Right out of the box, I was impressed with the construction and quality of the boots. They were a little stiff at first and caused some minor soreness at the top back, but as I've worn them around the house and back and forth to work a few times, they have softened up and now that problem has been eliminated. Very comfortable for standing for longer periods and I'm hopeful that they will be as durable as they are well constructed. I have to say that these also are a pretty highly rated in the reviews and that definitely contributed to my choosing them.

These fit perfectly! I'm a big guy with wide feet and have always found it hard to find good boots that fit and are extremely comfortable.When I first got these I was in love with them. I have worn them 5 days a week, 8 hours a day for over 5 months. The padding/insulation and construction are very supportive. The zippers is great, I did not think I would like it but I ended up using and enjoying the easy of taking them off and putting them on. My feet just slip in, zip up, and I'm ready to go.I am an auto shop teacher and wear them to work everyday. I have worn them in wet weather, mud and dirt, and hiking. They have become my everyday shoes.The insoles pull out to be washed if needed. They have no odor. The boots are kinda quilted inside and resist moisture very well. I don't shy away from water, I use snow shield on my boots since I was a boy. Needless to say I have never had problems with rain or water. The boots have softened to fit my feet very well.Ironically, I've never had boots with soles that don't wear down, until these. I'm glad I found these. I hope they don't change them.The only thing that I would change is the snaps, they do not work well and snap open constantly. I wish that they would have Velcro straps instead, I have a pair of shoes with a Velcro strap at the top of the shoe that worked perfectly all the time.So I will definitely be buying these again and hope they change the snap to a Velcro closure system.

My husband loves the work boots. He says they are very comfortable and long lasting. He works in construction and the boots take a beating. I buy a replacement pair every year. One year I bought a different brand and ended up having to buy these again because the other brand just didn’t stand up to the demands of use - I had to buy 2 pairs of boots that year. I will never try any other brand than rock rooster again. I highly recommend and will continue to purchase this brand.

Great shoes. Lasted for two seasons (well 1.5 and i bought another pair at the end second season). I love the side zipper but I dont like the soles. It's too weakly built. 3-4mm thick and the rest is foam. The boot leather is fine but the sole gave way. I ordered another pair by the Golden Retriever brand (non side zipper :( ) to test out quality. The soles looks a lot tougher than these. I'll see how long they last.

These are the most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn. I work outside in Florida on my feet 10 to 12 hours a day!! I will definitely be buying another pair when it’s time. They showed up in one day which was great!!
