Bought these for my husband and he loves them. They slip over your shoes. You do have to make sure they are secure. Once on they work great. They are light weight and durable. You don't slip and slide when walking on ice. They kinda grip the ice as you walk so you don't fall. Would definitely recommend 2/2025 I just wanted to clarify that I got these in 2022 for my husband. They are still holding up and working wonderfully. They have not ripped or torn apart. They are very durable and that's saying something because my husband is pretty ruff on his things especially when shoveling snow constantly. He says they really are worth the money. His only complaint is sometimes they slip off his shoes/boots so we bought some extra long shoelaces and tied on the cleats and they stay in place now. They really are a must have in winter weather.

After my wife slipped and fell in an icy parking lot, I decided to buy these Ice Cleats Snow Traction Crampons. They work extremely well and provide excellent grip on icy surfaces. They’re easy to put on and feel durable, which makes walking much safer during winter conditions. A great product for anyone dealing with snow and ice. Fit my wife’s Hokas perfectly.

I was staying with my folks and they have a large property. Of course they only want the dogs to poop at the very back... up a hill. I walk that hill several times a day. Obviously in the winter the ice gets pretty thick. I had used a pair of cleats they had but I did not like the fit so I ordered my own. These are AWESOME, but you have to add some additional connections yourself. What I loved was that they stretched nicely and made it over the big snow boots I use. All the other pairs I tried it was such a fight to get them to stretch enough to fit over the boot. They stretched on so nicely I didn't think I would need the straps. Nope--a few walks in they were slipping off. Ok so I added the straps that came with them. Those straps are SMALL. They would not work to connect the cleats over the shoe as they are meant to. I tried using them but they just popped off as I started walking because they were too overstretched to stick together well. So then it was time to get creative. I dug out some zip ties. And I zip tied the dang things to my boots. Took me a few walks before I had enough zip ties in the right places, but now they're perfect. A little annoying with the zip ties, but hey they work for the ice and mud so they don;t have to look pretty. PROS: They are able to go onto a boot pretty easily which was a welcome change. The cleats are the best I have tried. I used to have some with "coils" as the cleats and those did not work. These are amazing. I was able to walk uphill on the solid ice no worries at all. AND I was able to walk DOWNHILL on solid ice with no problems! This is a huge relief. Other cleats have not been so sturdy CONS: Obviously the straps. If you have a small child-size boot they might work as they are supposed to. If you are an adult don't even bother with them. Grab some zip ties and you're good to go. I only took off one star for the straps even though that is a pretty major feature. I loved the grips so much I won't take off more than 1 star.

I take care of 43 horses and feeding time has been treacherous with all the snow and ice on the East coast. I just received and wore them once so far but they were outstanding for the price and functionality. I didn't feel I would slip at all and walked around with confidence. Easy to attach to my boots so size was accurate. Definitely recommend if you want to stay safe in this crazy winter weather.

A real game changer!! These snow cleats have been a life saver. We are on day 10 of frozen snow covered ground. Im 66, had a knee replacement 7 months ago and my other knee has a torn meniscus. Twice a day i walk my sons dogs and once a day my husband and I have to walk to the field where we have LOTS of chickens to feed and water them. Walking was slow and awkward so as not to fall. We got the cleats 3 days ago.OMG, they are great! We can walk normally and faster. Not once have either of us slipped. They are so easy to slip onto your boots or shoes. They come with a strap but we haven't needed it. I have no idea how long they'll last but for now im loving them!

I storm for the first time this year upstate New York, were these while walking my dog, excellent traction, no doubt I would’ve slipped without these. I highly recommend them. They stretch over your boots or shoes and are very snug insecure. Don’t use them and walk on your hardwood floors or linoleum as they will bar the surface but for outside they’re great and you can even use them on pavement until you get to the ice.

I bought three pairs of these: two medium pairs for myself (female size 8) and my fiancés sister (female size 8.5) and one extra large pair for my fiancé (male size 10.5). Pros: -On ice, they do their job very well. We walked across a frozen lake and felt very secure. No slipping or sliding on the ice from any of us. The crampons also stayed in place. -They fit our hiking boots perfectly. They didn’t slide around and felt snug. Cons: -In snow, the crampons slid around, I assume because snow got underneath the contact points. My fiancés sister and I both tripped and fell a handful of times because our crampons slid right off. Pretty scary when you’re hiking on a snowy cliff edge. My fiancé’s never fell off, but they did slide around. We all had to readjust our crampons numerous times. We did wear the provided straps the entire hike, but they did occasionally unlatch. Overall, I’d say if you plan on just walking over ice, these are great. We will not be hiking in them again though as they seem to be unsafe in snow. Will definitely keep as a backup set for when roads/sidewalks get icy and we need to take out the trash, get the mail, etc.

I ordered xl to go over my women's size 10 kizik winter boots (very bulky) to replace my old yaktrax that had worn to nubs. I only wear these boots and these cleats for doing farm chores here in New England -- lots of snow and ice! These cleats are great. They keep me upright and slip free -- hallelujah! I'm super happy with them. I have not had any trouble with them coming off of my boots. I'm just using them as they arrived and have not added any additional straps. I had read in other reviews that some people had problems with them falling off and I'm wondering if they ordered the wrong size? Something to be mindful of is that your winter boots/shoes are probably bigger due to the extra insulation. I would highly recommend these. Note that the cleats on the bottom of these are the real deal so you probably don't want to wear them inside on your nice wood floors.
